Sure, but I was referring to the "Deep State" in the way Trump and Qanon and their ilk are referring to the Deep State. And yes, the US is absolutely losing all of their contacts (can you imagine the poor agents currently in the field right now?) and things have likely been completely destroyed for years now.

Oh, I have no idea what Trump and Qanon go on about, I just meant the top echelons of the government/military/secret services or whatever shady agencies it is which generally pull of their political assassinations. Surely they still have some power and are planning something? This can't possibly go on the way it is for 4 more years.

Trump has put all his minions in there now though, the FBI, the CIA, the Supreme Court, the top military leaders, all his, largely unqualified, a kissers.

Yes but the ones he's replacing don't just go away, they still have their top secret networks, of which Trump and his minions probably know next to nothing.

I've been watching with the same expression and a stream of randomised WTF/JFC/FFS and my admiration to Zelensky for not completely losing his tit when those two children wouldn't pipe the fck down.

This has me very worried. I've been watching Sky. They have a reporter in Kiev who thinks that Trump should have let Zelenski speak. They also have a reporter in Washington saying this extraordinary meeting of nearly three hours, no conference, but not happy that Zelenski wasn't listening to Trump!

I heard Trump telling Zelenski that he'd be responsible for WW3 if he didn't agree to a deal.

Everyone seems to have a different opinion here.
