Money not spent surely in this situation means debt not created so there's no actual money to be handed out...?
Anyway this whole redistribution of wealth sounds a bit socialist, I really don't think the American public is going to want that sort of thing going on.

Difference is, he'll be allowed to continue wrt Ukraine, as he's aligning with the other imperialist forces. Gaza's another story, because the whole of the global south, plus Russia, has been against what the US has been backing there. Europe was the only ally in that genocide and Trump's given us the middle finger, so.

It's the same thing that happened when Elon took over Twitter. Mass firings without any thought of what people actually did and the importance of their roles, then a scramble to rehire when someone actually figured out they couldn't sustain necessary functions without people they fired.
