You don't judge Russia who is actively sending millions of men to the front for an imperialistic war? Just like the third Reich did 91 years ago? Europeans don't want war with Russia. They want deterrence to stop Russia agressing their neighbors and expanding. They want Russia to stop those sabotage operations like cutting cables in the sea, explosive parcels in planes and murders on their land (Salisbury, Berlin and co.).

We are not teaching our kids to like war as they do in Russia where young kids are parading every 8th of May in military outfits and being told they need to be ready to sacrifice themselves for the imperialistic goals of the motherland. While we remember with horror and sadness the lost lives of WWII they created a death cult out of it. Stalin statues are popping again in russian city centres. The man that executed so many of his own compatriots and brutally treated every minority in Russia all in the name of the supposedly greatness of the Soviet Union.

Germany is not mourning the Third Reich, France is not dreaming about Napoleon's conquests, the UK is not thinking of getting back its old colonies, Ireland included while Putin and many Russians consider that the dismantling of the Soviet Union is the biggest tragedy of the 20th century and are actively trying to revive it without its communist character. Tell me, who has bloodlust?

You do. You don’t want peace, you and your ilk are full of hatred for anyone who doesn’t toe the ideological line of them versus us.

It’s malevolent; Putin and Trump are old men and will not have control for long by way of natural order. Zelenskyy is not a saint, he’s presiding over the most corrupt country in Europe. But the political derangement that paints peaceful diplomatic solution as something bad because of who is orchestrating is the creation of malignant minds. I want none of it, I want ordinary Ukrainian, Russian and Europeans to have safety and security away from this nihilistic vein that keeps trying to start something catastrophic.

How is Ukraine the most corrupt country in Europe?

Yes I think he is an opportunist and I don't think he'd be saying this about the US in any other circumstance than them siding with Russia.
It is always worth reminding ourselves of his submissions to Russia Today and for clarity I shall add 'for various meanings of submission'.

I'm going to hazard a guess but I think that particular poster has disappeared way down some internet black hole.
Snooty comments don’t bother me, and the “internet conspiracy theorist” is quite frankly the laziest trope around to silence opposition. Nice one.

Even bleeping Wikipedia has a page on it.
It does, and I note that from said page in 2020 Zelensky and parliament restored anti-corruption legislation and suspended the chair of the court which had got rid of it.
Seems that Zelensky was voted in on anti corruption ticket and then actually took action to do something about it.

Would need to check but IIRC the path to EU membership includes a stack of anti-corruption measures which they have been putting in place (and/or adapting their laws to implement).

The fact you have zero argument to counter about the issues I have raised about russian imperialism and their ongoing slaughter of the principles of people's self determination and borders internationally accepted shows that you are either trully brainwashed, a troll or a bot.

Ressorting to insults is the only tactic you can use as you have nothing meaningful to answer.

If you have issues with ukrainian corruption you should be even more alerted about russian corruption that is even higher. It's the most corrupted european country.

Russia is also the country that have killed countless journalists, poisonned and jailed political opponents and have a very high number of suspicious deaths from "falling out of windows". I don't want to live in a world where Russia can decided whenever they feel like they can invade a european country to bring death, terror and their "way of life" . Russia can stay what they are inside their own borders - it's their own problem and have no wish for young european people to be sent there but I don't want young people to lose their country and the benefits of democracy and freedom they are enjoying in the rest of Europe. I don't think the british wanted to send their young people to fight the third Reich but Germany and the Soviet Union didn't let them the choice when they invaded together Poland in 1939. I do hope this day won't ever come back and that good deterrence could be enough to keep Russia at bay.

I’ve got some magic beans, wanna buy ‘em? Btw, do you know who Ihor Kolomoisky is?
Make your mind up Doc, either you take Wikipedia as a valid source of information or you don’t? I’m on the fence myself.

However I see that the guy you mention is referred to on wiki as having his Ukrainian citizenship stripped by Zelensky in 2022 due to his corruption, is that the guy?

I don’t; Wikipedia is notoriously biased which is why I said “even Wikipedia” had to acknowledge it.

Yes, the guy who installed Zelenskyy and funded him. Zelensky wasn’t fussed about his corruption when using it to be installed into power.

So Zelensky got into power with the help of a corrupt donor, then when power used it to get rid of said corrupt donor.
Well played Zelensky.
Would you rather he was like Donny who got into power via dodgy contributions from billionaire sociopaths and then allowed them to ride roughshod over his country and its people for as long as they liked?

Im not arguing about Russia because it’s complete whataboutism. Everyone knows Putin has done terrible things, I’m not being taken down that tangent to avoid the point.

It’s the petulant treatment of the US and failure to recognise how much Europe depends on their military backing that annoys me because they’re literally the major block to Putin pushing forward. The hurrahing of European troops being committed, the potential of innocent slaughter spilling out beyond Ukraine to other European countries.

People would rather that, the war torn and destroyed Europe, to stick it to Trump than have Trump take kudos for potentially negotiating a peace deal when many leaders have failed. It’s sick bloodlusting partisanship and I have no qualms in questioning the morality of anyone who thinks along those lines.

I would rather none of them dabbled in corruption at all, what a stupid question.
