Anyone still on this kind of thing?

starting again tomorrow with exante as have found summer so miserable with my weight as it is and I just need to get it gone and I can’t seem to be sensible with just cutting down etc.

have a cupboard full of exante ready to go for the first month. Feeling ready and raring to go (easier said than done as past experience shows me!)
I will be starting back up after Christmas as I have just had a baby and I know you need to leave it at least 3 months before you start, and I'd like to enjoy Christmas!

Good luck x

I've done slimming world in the past and now doing Cambridge. Whilst yes Cambridge is more restricted, I got myself into an awful mindset with SW where I over analysed every single thing I ate and ended up with BDD (which god forbid you dare talk about!). With Cambridge I needed a kick up the backside to get started and shift this lockdown weight. I also allow myself to enjoy life when I go out with friends or whatever. My mindset is better, I understand my body shape and accept that more now.

I've lost 1 stone 5lb in about 2 months. 4lb to go until I'm back at my happy weight but my clothes fit again and I don't obsess with my figure!

I am on day 2 of CWP & starving. I want a stone off by end of September.

Yeah I've had some events such as a weekend away and a wedding and I just allowed myself to enjoy them. Had a small gain after holiday but lost it all quickly (having covid probably helped.....lol) but yeah.

Fava beans are my godsend for when I'm starved lol

God I need to get back on to this. I struggle so much with food. Tried calorie counting as I fell off Cambridge about 4/5 months ago. I cannot for whatever reason eat normal. I’m wanting to eat Anything everything all the time

It’s a tough one on money but I suppose really if I was smarter I’d realise money I spend not on food and takeaways cover Cambridge products so I got to get my head back in the game.

I’m getting fatter by the minute and I can really feel it on my knees. Omg I need to motivate myself !!!

this is like a carbon copy of me!

i didn’t start when I said as I found it too hard to a) not eat when I took the kids out in the holidays and b) hide dieting from them when they are at home all the time.

Definitely starting Monday though when they are back at school and I can get into a better routine.

For the past 2 weeks I have started and broken it. Today I was with my consultant and while I was waiting for her I was chopping on jellies. I just can't stay on plan. Going on holidays in 21 days. I need help how do I stick to it.

I'm the same, having renovations on my place and had no kitchen for 3 weeks, would've been the ideal opportunity to have mealreplacement .... instead I've been drinking beer with the builders and eating fast food.
Feel absolutely dreadful though so going to try and start tomorrow ....

You definitely need a certain mindset and an end goal in mind but DONT let it consume your life (that's where SW ruined me tbh and took a long time to break free from). I'm now in control and if I have a day off then it's not the end of the world and I'll get back on it, like I am today. Its not easy in the slightest but its worth it as I feel so much better and I've now started exercise

Started this morning, had 2 pints of water & a latte so far. Need to lose 3 stone - have an event in October so would like to lose at least a stone by then.
Wish me luck!!

So three weeks into 1 to 1 again. Been smooth running and tbh I’m so depressed at the moment it working perfect as I’m not getting the hunger like I would usually. However I’m not losing much at all. First week 5 lbs but I also cut out booze takeaways sweets chocolate crisps so I knew I’d shed some water weight. But the last two weeks on a vlcd I’ve only dropped 2 lbs. I’m literally the penguin from Batman I’m huge morbidly obese. The bloat is still with me and I’m not losing weight. Anyone else who’s massive having this issue. I can’t believe it’s down to pcos. My bloods came back fine from doc when I requested for thyroid possible issues

I suffer with carrying water weight a lot, no idea why but my weight can vary by 6Ibs daily, I drink lots of green tea when it’s bad (flavoured ones because it’s rank) also use natural water tablets from Sainsbury’s
Also green tea helps with metabolism

Ive just started the diet today. What are the best meals as the two I've had made me gag!

Which ones have you had?

I couldn't stomach any of the savouries. I like most of the shakes, bars I have the Peanut Crispy and the Salted Caramel Bites. And the fava beans whilst still available.

But yeah the only time I could eat the Savoury ones was when I had covid and lost my taste 🤣🤣

I've had the syrup porridge and chicken and mushroom soup. I just think they have a funny taste. Going to try the mac cheese tonight. Maybe the sweeter ones will be better. X

Go for mixed Berry porridge, I like the soups and oat smoothie. Not a fan of the shakes. I like pesto pasta and chicken tikka. Put plenty of black pepper on it. 100% and it will work

The oriental soup is good, the chicken and mushroom one is the worst, veg soup is also fine. Chicken tikka is ok I have it with cucumber. The mac and cheese I couldn’t stomach but the pesto And the Bolognese is ok. I’ve also tried adding the mac and cheese (half pack) to half a pack of Bolognese and that’s not bad. The apple and cinnamon porridge is actually ok. The water flavourings are a good send too!

Yeah you have to remember they won't taste like the normal/full fat etc versions. The only Savoury I could stomach was the pesto pasta. Mac & cheese I could only eat when I had covid....and thus lost taste and smell 🤣
