00s nostalgia #2

I was lucky to catch mtv at a mates house as my parents didn't have it , only freeview for a period of the 00s but I remember a music channel on freeview would show repeats of some shows and that's how I got into the hills and only saw snippets of laguna beach
The hills was still running then so had to try find newer episodes on dodgey websites
I didn't actually watch laguna beach fully until it came on netflix
Also saw some episodes of made and other programmes mentioned on the music channel (can't remember what it was called , maybe it was vevo they were on?)

Have you listened to Kristen and Stephen's podcast about laguna? Back to the beach I think, it's interesting because it's such a weird mix of real and set up things

I also watched best friends another Jacqueline Wilson adaptation but from what I remember it's probably suited to primary school age , not something I would rewatch now

Think I’ve mentioned it before but if you haven’t read ‘Freak Like Me’ or more recently ‘Reach For The Stars’ you do immediately. RFTS is especially incredible as there’s lots of interviews with songwriters, producers, label execs and the bands/artists themselves - both are absolute 10/10!

Where are the interviews etc? This sounds interesting!

Pasta King was a school dinner choice I think it got brought in as a healthly alternative to pizza and burgers.
There was always a rush to get one before they ran out even though it didn’t really taste of much.

I don't think we ever had them at school, although I have tried them. As others have said, a bit too watery for me.

Remember when this was on TMF. Theme tune was brilliant, but found the show itself deadly dull! Not surprised it was cancelled after one season!
