A Dublin priest on Irish radio just dumped a tin of red paint over the Russian embassy gates live on radio. He wants the Russian embassy burned down he said but he’s going to have a court appearance now to punish him. He was so upset telling the world to do something and Russians bombed a maternity hospital last night. Putin is sending criminals armed on buses to Ukraine currently to murder any Ukrainians they see.

Been reading these threads avidly for the past few days. I’ve learned SO much. I think the news outlets plus Twitter etc can be so overwhelming. This thread is great for posting up to date info, people politely correcting anything that isn’t accurate. I have a tendency to obsessively consume media and then get really anxious but reading here and everyone’s varying opinions has really helped me understand everything.

Can’t comprehend what the people of Ukraine are going through. It’s absolutely fucking horrific. Completely in awe of their spirit and Zelenskyy’s attitude. The man is a hero.

I have volunteered with MAG helping to educate around the clearance of those butterfly mines in Laos, they estimate that 30% do not explode at all on initial contact, resurfacing days/weeks/months/years later causing untold damage. In 2021 they found 20,390 undetonated devices. Laos was last bombed in 1973.

Breathtakingly cruel.
