This is so funny. I was speaking to my 80 year old Grandad this morning and apparently he’s emailed the Russian Embassy a few times this week to be fair he‘s quite eloquent and could put together a good email but he’s basically been asking them if they think all of this is a good idea

I’m a lesbian but I genuinely have a little thing for Zelensky and would happily ride the arse off him. A man so handsome and patriotic. It must be the Irish in me to love a man so patriotic. Yes I am pissed but he is sexy.

All these influences pissing me off. Not one bloody person posted anything about it. Actually Kelly Stamps shared something, and she is all the way in the US. Everyone in the UK just going about their day, posting about food, ads, makeup, gifted etc. It feels wrong. My whole day felt so pointless and I couldn't even concentrate on one thing except obsessively reading the news and making sure my friends and family are okay. It infuriates me that they have a platform that can be used to speak up, but all of them are so self involved that they can't see anything but the top of their noses. They get paid outrageous amounts of money FOR WHAT? I'm sorry but I'm just so annoyed! Everyone is so superficial and I feel sick. If it doesn't directly affect their life e.g. Covid restrictions or jabs - they just don't want to know about it. I apologise if it's off topic I had to let this out.

I have just seen the comments above about Zelenskyy. I am always quite sceptical of a politician. Especially one who during his inaugural address said this to his lawmakers:

"I do not want my pictures in your office: the President is not an icon, an idol or a portrait. Hang your kids' photos instead, and look at them each time you are making a decision"



This is his family photo that he hung in his office.

I hope they are all safe. And I can only imagine how proud they would be to see that the world is behind their daddy, and her husband.

they reported an a story where 3 Ukranian lorry drivers were spotted by a postman parked at the side of the road - he spoke to them and they were here to collect goods to take back. They said they now cannot get back and have been sleeping in their vehicles. One company offered them parking in a more secure yard, a local cafe has offered them free food for as long as they are here and a hotel asked if they wanted free rooms - I don’t know why but it really touched me - Brits are great - if only politicians and their egos didn’t run the bloody world we would all be better off - the ordinary folks of every country just want to live their lives without all this aggro and constant need for posturing - Well done Durham
