I've not followed her for donkeys...
Anyway, I'm minding my own business, scrolling on Facebook to see her keep popping up on my local pages, asking questions about the schools etc etc. Thought I recognised the name, turns out it's only Sarah isn't it

She'll get a shock when she gets here. It's not all it's cracked up to be!

Edit to add- I've not gone all the way back through the thread to check what info is already known...
But she's not moving to Brussels, she'd be living near/on a different Nato base about an hour away from Brussels. The british school that shes struggling with, the children need to get on a bus from here to attend. My eldest is dropped off at the bus stop at 0630 and we pick him up from the bus stop anywhere between 1705-1750 depending on traffic. This is later if they attend after school clubs. Yes,it is an incredible school, however it is a private school and they can pretty much choose who they take. There's no childcare here for children under the age of 3, after school clubs etc are very limited, wrap around child care is VERY much given based on whether parents are single or duel serving, jobs for spouses are few and far between. She's been allocated a house on my street. If she thinks people in the midlands don't understand her accent, I can't wait to hear her experience conversing with the French Belgians and all the other nationalities on our base

I’m more of a lurker around here but Sarah’s rant has annoyed me no end. She has no idea how lucky she is to get a homecoming! My husband was killed in Afghanistan 6 years ago, I was 8 months pregnant at the time and I would’ve given anything for him to have come home and meet his son! She should be grateful just because it wasn’t insta perfect doesn’t mean it was a disaster.

I get following trends and memes and things but she’s not copying anyone else, just Greedy

Did she like in the Netherlands?!? She hardly ever mentions it. Or living in the Middle East, or how much she loved living in London or how much she wants to live back in Scotland.
If I had a cocktail sausage for everytime she mentions any of these things I'd be.... Well, I'd be Isla and Lachlan.

Can she not see the irony of dumping her youngest in nursery on her day off to spend her time off looking up (and photographing?!?!) the baby aisle wishing for a baby. Make the most of the child you have before planning another.

Why does she call picking Lachlan up from nursery a click and collect?

Sending her husband “why aren’t you here” texts at 1am. This woman is batshit crazy. What on earth can he do in a submarine apart from worry? I really hope they don’t manage to have another one as she clearly can’t cope.

Are you kidding - I nearly choked on my shortbread when I read this comment. This morning it was -10c, like it always is everywhere in the homogeneous land with no geographical variation that is Scotland. Whilst ceilidh-ing to work this morning I tripped on a haggis. Luckily I was wearing something under my kilt. Anyway, off to have an Irn Bru.
