I actually hope MOD and FOD are now reading Tattle and finding some reassurance because we seem to be the only sane people here in all that mad media coverage.

Like other new members here, I came to find out more because of the newspaper reports. Previously I had very little idea about the instabeggers and would certainly never follow anyone like that because 1. I have a mind of my own; 2. their products are downmarket compared to what I would normally buy; 3. they are not nice people and certainly not the sort I would associate with in real life.

Choose your friends wisely, you become what they are.

The way that no one has come out in support of the Hooper woman is disgusting. All this “oh there’s more to it behind the scenes” rubbish is an excuse. They are trying to play with the big boys but they are amateurs and it doesn’t wash.

Hooper has either spouted horrible stuff “behind the scenes” in which case they should come out and say so to explain why they’re allowing this racist stuff to go on unchecked, or they are trying to pretend there are some big politics at work (hahaha!) in their little world. They are disloyal and only out for themselves.

I work in research with luxury brands (they are the ones that can afford the research and invest because they have brands that are decades, even over a century, old) and these instagram people are ridiculed in that world because of this scandal. Again, they were off the radar of many because we live in a different retail world but, now their heads are above the parapet, they are being parodied in meetings and are a laughing stock. It’s not just the public that have opinions. These sellers have positioned themselves firmly as the bottom feeders of the retail world, along with the Facebook sellers of tat.

I came, I read, I saw a bunch of mostly women who are playing at house and all bitching behind each other’s backs.

This will die down in my world. Maybe it will with the customers also if they become more empowered and don’t need to aspire to some faked lifestyle of a bitchy woman or, quite frankly, weirdo man. I think these sites are actually doing harm but then I expect the people that run them do harm in their real lives too, look how they are acting towards one of their own now.

I’m anonymous on the Internet. Anyone who has decided to position themselves as one of these online sellers, is not. That is a huge decision and one I don’t think these people thought through. We know who you are. We know you are nasty. We know you are amateurs. You are searchable for the rest of your life.

How silly!

Did you see FOD’s stories? The fake sobbing on the train over the rugby?

He actually sat there on the train ON HIS OWN filming himself pretend crying. What on earth must the other passengers think?

What an absolute fucking buffoon.

Such a 🖕 to BountyMargate. 'Yeah, yeah, you may have sweated blood to renovate the house, but did you fill it with curly haired moppets and fun and laughter and warmth and sunshine? No? Ha.'

Someone should tell Sly & Clam that it takes more than a #gifted velvet sofa, ugly wallpaper, and some #bekind prints to make a house a home.

I love the way he thinks using a mirror found in the attic of their old house cancels out all the slash and burn they did on the perfectly lovely fixtures and fittings that were already there in the Ramsgate 'pile'.
I love that they believe they are creating an eclectic mix of old and new.

😳

While I’m on a roll, am I the only person who thinks the bedside tables look like those tables you wheel over the bed in hospital?

As someone who’s put a lot of paedos behind bars, what I know is that’s it is far more likely that a child will know their abuser. Paedos rarely whip kids off the street. It does happen but it’s rare and they are far more likely to pick up a random child not even a z list celebrities kid, more likely a poor kid from a poor area. They play the long game befriending the family, a teacher, a doctor or as is with most cases they are a member of the family. I’ve also put away lots of men who had images of kids on their computers, for me this is more likely an issue the SODs kids face, but even so, the images on Instagram of them are very low level. So I don’t think the FODs kids represent a more “high risk” chance of being abducted because they are known so their trip to the park is not increasing their chances of being taken.

The chances of them catching COVID 19 or spreading it is more of an issue as they are kids and without parents overseeing them they may be more likely to touch stuff.

However, for me, the ultimate and biggest problem these kids face is the shit that will follow them all their lives because their parents thought it was ok to use images and very personal information about them in order to build a business, make $$$ and get free shit. That is their everlasting legacy and that, for me, is the biggest sadness of this circus their parents created!

Holier than thou MP.....yeah she has her flex appeal, great....but she's the same as the rest....gousto, M&S etc.....just trying to get you to buy things you dont need
You see now I have a soft spot for MP. She’s messaged me numerous times, made me laugh, been helpful and generally lifted my day a number of times with humour and compassion. She is open about ads and if pulled up on one does not block and delete, she use the info (pampers and conversations about washable nappies and biodegradable products etc) her ads are often ok and her house is not gifted white goods, gifted tiles, gifted sofas etc. She is careful that products are vaguely relatable (crisps?!) I don’t mind because I know what’s going on. She generally shows herself wearing clothes from monki etc which some weeks I can afford. No sleepyhead or deliveroo shoved in your face. All in all MP has been positive in my life to follow. God knows her real ness of breastfeeding and body shape and clothing saved me in my dark post baby hours. I’m sorry but saintly MOD does none of this.
MP has also addressed kids, photos of kids, safety issues etc, all these things she discusses and comes back to. She’s not perfect, but if MOD did half what she does I’d have a lot more respect for her.

Going to come across as very classist, but they way they carry on is just common. Tag this, swipe here, AF AD GIFTED... it's just crass. £280k in the bank is NOTHING to the sort of people they emulate, if that makes sense. i.e. if you could afford to live like they do in terms of consumerism, you'd need a lot more than £280k in the bank. But then people who could afford to live 'like that' probably wouldn't. The amount of seriously wealthy people I know driving around in clapped out shitty old cars buying their clothes from supermarkets because the kids wipe snot all over them anyway is testament to that. They don't waste money on things, they invest it.

And they don't then flaunt all their shit on the internet...

I think a case in point is someone like UGG, who before she had the instafame and therefore crazily expensive kids' shit sent to her for free was using IKEA £19 high chairs for the twins. I bet the new baby will be Stokke'd up to its eyeballs. She's in it for the freebies, but it does then move her into the crass bracket.

Properly rich people don't bother wasting all their money on fads. It's the lower aspirational socioeconomic classes who priorities 'stuff', and that's who the MOFODS are revered by. And actually it's very apparent when you see MOD especially basically only commenting on wealthy instafamous accounts that she's exactly the same.

Social climbing is SO VULGAR. Bad enough to do it IRL, but in public on social media.. desperate.

Has anyone seen the horrendous tone deaf campaign that MODs old pal Style Me Sunday has posted about? An Aldi challenge living off £25 a week with the hashtag #mypoorestday. She’s rightly getting roasted in the comments. What is WRONG with these idiots? Getting paid to front this in this climate of austerity and food banks? I never liked her but this is next level vile.

Normally on these #reno accounts they do a “before” and “after” shot. Funny that the SODs “Reno” projects never show the “before” photos isn’t it (of what the house was like when they moved in). They want to mislead us that it was a pile of rubble bomb site when infact its just been on the front cover of Real Homes 😂
