Do we need to start a Bingo board for Lizzy and her predictable content?

✅ Eating at a restaurant/tableware
✅First-person POV of her holding something whilst walking
✅Underexposed
✅Alcoholic beverage
✅Lackluster outfit (this goes without saying and is almost too easy)

Edit: Lol I made one.

She said she's been so inspired by New York street style lately, and the result is this outfit. I feel embarrassed for NYC.

It will come as no great surprise that only posting three Instagram stories to flog the new version of your own book did not work, so now they’ve resorted to giving it away. One of my London friends who works in PR found a copy in her company’s office, apparently they were sent it but no one seemed to know by who.
She messaged me asking if I knew these two had written a book and sent this - the story everyone is interested in. [Identifiable fingers expertly cropped out by yours truly.]
IMG_6905.jpg

I’ve already listened to the audiobook, always feel the need to say because it was free, and this is by far the most wild part of the book - the rest is a damp squid in comparison. Anywho I got her to send me the new chapter. It is as underwhelming and performative as you would expect.

I think the most interesting part is Lizzy has finally acknowledged her inheritance! ‘My ability to buy a house in London was facilitated by inheritance money.’ A slight discrepancy from the ‘I did this, all by myself’ attitude of Elizabeth on Youtube. It’s a shame she hid this away in the book that she must have known all of ten people were going to read.

The new chapter is called change, the first part is a conversation on change.
Lizzy - ‘Throughout the summer of 2021 especially; I had so many moments of feeling over-awed by my autonomy.’ Pretentious waffle about growth in self confidence and how she’s become more extroverted.

Linda - Change is the most powerful thing she can do for herself, in the last year she ended her six year relationship. She moved back to London and became depressed, overwhelmed and insular, not because of her relationship ending but because of change. A solo surfing trip to Portugal lifted her depression and she fell in love again.

Next, a conversation on friendship.
Lizzy - Doesn’t really say anything apart from she watched Linda make the decision to end her relationship and friendships are important at this time.

Linda - Gut feeling prompted her to leave James and she slipped into her first depression of her life after her break up. She’s had many chances to live a life that ended in marriage and children but chose not to.
Last year they recorded some podcast episodes in March and Linda was still wanting a ring and baby with James, when they recorded the audiobook in April her relationship was over. So make of that what you will. The original part of the book is filled with Linda gushing over James so I can see why she might want to save face.

Next, a conversation on achievements.
Lizzy - ‘My sustained happiness. That may seem quite abstract but I have never known myself to be so consistently happy before and to bounce back from anything negative so easily.’ And then the part about buying her house.

Linda - ‘Harnessing and protecting my own happiness with a will that I’ve never had before….. Gone are the days where I feel that my achievements must be grand or exist for other people’s approval and validation. We find happiness in the everyday-ness of life.’ Okay, Linda.

Next, a conversation on future plans. - They both ‘simultaneously’ decided to move abroad.
Lizzy - ‘I have decided to pursue a life split between London and New York, a city that has always had a special place in my heart. It’s daunting at times and feels like I am living in a perpetual state of change, but I have realised that is actually a state in which I thrive…..The time I have spent in New York so far has been totally made by the people I’ve got to know there.’

Linda - ‘I fell in love with Portugal when I went there to learn to surf and I know that I thrive in warmer climates in terms of my general mood and health…..Very excitingly, my boyfriend and I have launched a sustainable brand The Longing and our factory is in Portugal. The more we’ve come to understand who we are together, the more we realise that we have both always wanted to live in and explore a new (warmer) city. Everything happened at once and all roads led back to Portugal.’
That’s the only time Linda mentions Jack and not even by name, he gets off lightly.

Next, a conversation on friendship.
This part is short and not interesting. They are going to navigate long distance friendship whilst remaining best friends. At first they were bereft and tears in public places were involved. The last line is ‘all because we do truly love one another very much and nothing will change that, not even thousands of miles.’

The font size and spacing are both generous. Not sure if I can post it all here but for future reference Lizzy Hadfield acknowledging she bought her London house with inheritance money and no she did not buy that house all by herself.

Also, I might be late to the party with this but has anyone else heard of Bilibili?
When I was talking with friends they mentioned a Taiwanese Youtuber who disappeared off the internet one day, deleting her whole channel. Naturally being the creeper that I am I Googled her and came across some of her vlogs someone has re-uploaded on Bilibili.

Algorithms are clearly even bigger creeps than I am, surprisingly I was recommended one of Lizzy’s vlogs. The vlog was one I had already noticed Lizzy has removed from her channel. So I went through the last year of Lizzy’s channel and she has made these three videos private - there might be more I missed.
From January, Back to New York - https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1i34y1i7TK

From January, Living Between London & NY - https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV19b4y1n7vL

From late November, Some Future Plans - https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1CM4y1P7gx
My personal favourite. At first I wondered why she removed this vlog, a classic shit quality vlog from Elizabeth featuring some very botched looking lips. Then right at the end she says spending two months in New York is a once in a lifetime opportunity - bingo!

September - Lizzy goes on holiday to North America for one month, two weeks in Canada and two weeks in NY. Talks about extending her holiday by one week but by going back to Toronto. Would have returned home in October if work on the house hadn’t been delayed.

Late November - Lizzy calls spending two months in NY a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Early December - Linda starts posting about moving to Portugal for a year from next March.

End of December - Lizzy starts talking about living between London and NY. Starts horrendously backtracking claims she was purposefully trialling living there, of course Elizabeth must have the idea first - just ignore the previous vlogs.

Elizabeth! You literally can’t make this up, Anne please knock some sense into your daughter whilst she’s in Yorkshire.
This will also be the first time Lizzy has seen Luigi, cat version, since December. Now we are in August Luigi is still under two years old and has now lived with Anne for longer than he lived with Lizzy.

Todays wall of text bought to you from the depths of procrastination and even I am questioning whether I need to do something more productive with my time. Promise I am not obsessed.

Well I think she is saying she’d give it all back to have her dad back, and despite my feelings on Lizzy I believe that she would.
does that mean she’d start working hard for money, no.

Liz is back in NYC. Can’t wait for her riveting content of awkward “fashion” shots, getting coffee and random used napkins 🙄
Hahah this explains the IUD. She found a new man in NY

When White people or rather British people moved to a new area, they are expats; but when non-white people moved to a new country, they are immigrants. Linda, you are just an immigrant kthxbye

Behold, incoming essay.

So I made it through the audiobook and I had massive deja vu throughout, it really is just a more refined, boring version of the podcast. It lacks any real panache and comes across in the same cheesy way Carrie Bradshaw’s column did.

The only new, vaguely juicy part.
Now I never liked Ben, personality and appearance wise he just doesn’t do it for me but I thought they totally threw him under a bus. It appears Lizzy and Ben broke up as Lizzy, with the help of Lindsey, became aware she was the one making the most effort in travelling to see him - no mention of him having an actual job.
It seems Lindsey was annoyed at Lizzy for prioritising spending time with Ben, Lizzy was spending all her weekends with or wanting to see Ben. Lindsey accused Ben of love bombing Lizzy.
In a later chapter Lizzy said when she commits to a relationship she goes all in but doesn’t seem to realise that’s exactly what she did with Ben. Lizzy sounded like the desperately needy one who wanted to see Ben at every opportunity and did she ever stop to think Ben might have perhaps been okay without seeing her for a few weeks?

Oh and Lizzy mentions online trolling, likening it to Caroline Flack. She reads out two very tame comments, one saying something like she used to dress slutty and now she dresses like a grandma why doesn’t she dress like her true slutty self.
And apparently we are community of strangers who like attacking someone we don’t know because we have low confidence. Oh Lizzy! 🤦‍♀️ We just call you out on being shady with your ad and single white female-ing the Halpins, a big difference from the British tabloids who pushed Caroline Flack to suicide over domestic violence.

Although it is always sad when someone experiences death the chapter on grief doesn’t fit with the rest of the book - drinking, sex, breakups. Obviously it had to be included as Lizzy treats the death of her dad as being a personality trait. Lizzy even admits it was her mother who pushed her towards counseling so it definitely is something you can ask yer mum.

Every chapter they wrote letters to each other which I thought was bad enough but then they wrote letters to their virgin selves, why on earth?
They also did a Q&A at the end of every chapter, who asked the questions? No one knows.
The rest of the book was just predictably cliche.
Their remedy for heartbreak is to drink wine and read books.
Lizzy likes to skip showers.
They believe in and call psychics.
Realising Lizzy prefers a navy jumper to a black jumper gave her confidence.
Don't worry about losing your virginity because boys don't know what they're doing either.
They don’t like high maintenance friendships and say this whilst describing their own high maintenance friendship.

The deja vu is so bad I can’t even remember what is from the book or the podcast and I only finished listening to the book two days ago.

Just ended up watching Lizzy's Toronto video. It's actually left me feeling quite depressed rather than inspired.
She comes across so privileged and spoilt in these videos lately. I felt she passively aggressively complained quite a bit. In the first 5 minutes she complained about the hotel but didn't elude to why? Why bother saying it then. Yes, it might be the wrong district but it looked like quite a plush room. Surely it was her that chose it, not like the hotel are forcing her to be there.
The random being gifted of 500 vouchers at a designer shop - jesus! The outfits she purchased were really not worth the price. She wears the same style but different label. How is anyone inspired by her?
I think she's trying so hard to be cool but coming across dowdy. The Dear Frances sandals - I absolute detest on her feet.
Has she really travelled all the way to Toronto just for a coffee run?

Still can't believe she's just recently bought a mil pound house in London. Hasn't really lived in it, buggered off to two holidays. Spending a fortune on renovations. Escaped the actually reality of it and left the cat that she claims to love so much.

I've also noticed her following has gone up slightly ???

ONE last note - Her overconsumption on clothes and jewellery has gone through the roof. She comes across so vacuous now.

Anyway, I promise to end there. Think I've said enough on the matter - lol

Between the educated guesses on the identity of Lindsey's new man, accurately locating Lizzy's new neighbourhood and now finding her interior designer, some of you bitches need to join the Secret Service 😮

I've decided I can't sit through an entire Lizzy vlog anymore. I don't know what kind of people all of her viewers are who comment how much they love them; apparently, they don't have more important things to do in their lives than watch a rich, entitled girl get richer.

Lizzy said she no longer wants to show relationships on her Youtube. It seems more like she no longer wishes to show anything, really. Her interest in vlogging left the station ages ago. Except, of course, when it comes to showing off this month's Arket freebies. Or some wildly expensive gifted jumper or somesuch. Didn't she have a brief obsession with green last year, and bought a few hideous traffic-sign-green t-shirts and sweaters back then? Does she even get pleasure anymore from acquiring new shit every month in order to satisfy her contracts?

Indulge me in a story.
I imagine hell for influencers is being sat at a lavish banquet (sponsored by Dior), surrounded by lush flower arrangements, orange wine, and the most flattering candlelight that gently glints off their #mejuri jewelry. Just as everyone finishes tagging themselves and their friends on their IG posts, the waiter comes by with a covered dish, out of which wafts the most heavenly aroma. He sets the dish in front of a guest, whose eyes widen with greed and anticipation, and removes the cover to reveal a steaming navy jumper. The poor girls are commanded to eat the jumpers, and quickly, because there's another hot jumper coming up after that and the chef would hate for it to get cold. The influencer turns her head to see a line of silver carts all holding covered dishes, stretching on for eternity. The dining hall fills with the clatter of forks and knives and belabored chewing. After finishing one navy jumper, the next course commences. At one point, when the girls' stomachs are full to bursting with soggy wool, tiny fibers scratching their throats and stuck in their teeth, they plead for mercy. "Please!" they cry, "There's no way in the world someone can eat all these jumpers! And they're all the same! Couldn't we just eat a sensible number, like one or two, perhaps three for special occasions?" In response, the waiters cart out an enormous charcuterie platter piled high with jeans, and the influencers must consume that as well. On and on for eternity, the end. (Can you guess I've been watching way too much Squid Game?)

Has it been mentioned here before about Lizzy's resemblance to author Sally Rooney? They could be related! I'm sure she's read some of her books, anyway.

She’s just had her bathroom done up but chooses to shoot on Homerton high street, like is she OK? Is everything alright up there Liz? From the “candid” look on her face, she honestly looks like a middle class Mum of 3 who isn’t used to TFL, accidentally went a bit too far East and is now in a state of panic

When Lindsey posted that side profile of the guy, I checked who she recently followed, that was around 3 weeks ago. At the time there was no profile photo, he was following like 7 accounts (including lindsey) and Lindsey was the only person following him, Jackmizon_

I checked back yesterday, he now follows more people and posted 1 photo. Not very clear but looks like what Lindsey was wearing. Lindsey liked the photo.

I had trouble uploading screenshots, hope it shows up.

If you google his name, there is a documentary from 2008 called Jack a soldiers story

Edited to add: I only watched 10 minutes of the documentary and it looks like the guy even though Lindsey hasn't posted him fully. Tattooes can't be seen from what I saw.
Immaculate sleuthing dear friend
