I followed IK on Twitter from the beginning and saw the very many lows. Pissed late at night and ranting at women she thought were after E - as she referred. Then the big move to Suffolk, E out of London and away from potential trouble or so she thought. She has put everything on the line to preserve the relationship including her own kids by the look of it. And likely her friends. She made her usual random Twitter appearance to flog her latest book (well late to put the E drama behind her) and it was interesting to see who didn’t offer up the usual happy publication day guff. Sali H and Caitlin M for two.

India telling her own sister she has no right to an opinion is just too funny considering she has written books lecturing women on all manner of subjects. She also stated before she would have no problem telling a friend if they needed botox. Tell me, India, what's the perfect length for hair so that we don't look like knackered mermaids or prison governors?

She really is a vile individual

The absolute nerve of her positioning herself as some sort of womans woman. She is about the furthest thing away from that imaginable

Ugh is she really comparing her grotty marriage to the Obamas? And her revolting husband to Barrack Obama?
Those must be some rose tinted spectacles she wears.
And quotes how Michelle said it was little kids was caused problems in the Obamas marriage…👀

I don’t think that’s quite the same thing, India.

I’ve just read her horrible piece in the ST. Two of her points to consider before you make the move to the countryside

one - check the broadband speed

& two - only move if your relationship is stable.

I guess both very salient points when you’re shacked up with Eric!
This absolutely beggars belief. I'm starting to think she's trolling. What a cunt.

I just cannot get my head around it. If he had been done for fraud, expenses fiddling, or something, I could see people doing the polite thing, but he’s not - he has more than one violent convictions and now this. How do you pretend you are a jolly countryside couple when your partner has just joined the ranks on the sex offenders register. All the money in the world can’t brush that one under the carpet.
Unfortunately I think it can - or at least power/influence can, if not money. Whether or not she's still with him, absolutely nothing can convince me that the general lack of outrage isn't her doing. She has stifled this, either for him or for her own sake.

I love Camilla Long. She’s not afraid to have a different opinion and love how withering she is about people like Matt Haigh and Gary Linekar
Oh no, she's another spiteful and mean excuse for a journalist who wouldn't have a career if she didn't have the pedigree. She's a nasty piece of work.

ETA a cursory glace at her twitter shows her latest column is on "mask Nazism" (actual quote). So vile that the actual Auchwitz Memorial have tweeted a response to try to help educate poor Oxford-educated Camilla who should fucking know better.

I don't care how drunk he was, his impulse is to get off on images of unfathomable depravity committed against tiny children. They should have thrown away the key
I’ve been drunk plenty of times before.

Not once has the thought ever occurred to me to go looking on the internet for images of children being sexually abused.

It is unconscionable that being drunk could ever be a valid defence to a crime like that.

Was George Floyd a hero? No

Did he deserve what happened to him? Absolutely not

Was JB's tweet tasteless? Absolutely

Was it the worst tweet in the history of tweets? No

As I said earlier I wish people would get more outraged about other stuff than a tasteless tweet from JB which seems to be a dig at Harry and Meghan more than anything. Where's the outrage from those on Twitter about Eric Joyce tweeting away as if nothing has happened? He doesn't even get a fraction of the stick JB got today.

And some of the replies she has gotten are far worse than the original tweet. Stuff like no wonder her son took her own life

If the BBC News report is accurate there was search history evidence on his computer "for material for five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10-year-old girls". India's daughter was about five years of age when they got together.

Off topic I know but.... India was sporting a fabulous new do in this weekends ST courtesy of a little know hairdressers......Hershesons. It was accompanied by a before picture. High maintenance hair extensions prior to lockdown had left India with matted hair, dreadlocks in her own words. It was pointed out in the comments section that just a few weeks ago India has written about a hair product, used through lockdown, that she proclaimed had left her with silky smooth hair 🤔 Very different from the matted mess in the before picture. Someone also noted this was the second hair feature featuring Hershesons in this weeks ST

I would presume mostly nepotism. Is her stepdad ( from whom she takes her surname) still at the Times? Her ex husband, Jeremy Langmead, father of her sons, the one who is now out as a gay man, is also working for the Times.
I think this is at the root of India's need to tell single women she's superior to them simply by being married. Every man she had married has not been interested in India physically. Jeremy was interested in dick. Eric is interested in pre-pubescent girls. That has to burn, that no man you've been with ever really fancied you, but was using you as a human shield, a beard to hide his gayness, or mask his pedophilia.

“We all know hitting a child cannot be an expression of love” 🤢🤢🤢

India Knight should not be allowed to write about children full stop, less what does and does not constitute “expressions of love”.

The audacity of this woman is outrageous.

And no, I don’t believe women should be held accountable for partners or family members crimes but she is responsible for her own complicity. She should have the grace to resign her column. It’s an outrage she and Eric Joyce are protected and enabled by her step father, Andrew Knight, chairman of the Times newspapers.

she is utterly vile. It’s not even that she has zero self awareness, it’s that she thinks she is above it all. That sense of entitlement.

Imagine having the brassneck to publish a piece about your successful relocation/ life, just weeks after your partner pleaded guilty to making a category A child sex abuse image? And tried to excuse his behaviour by saying he drank too much.

I posted this is the Sali Hughes thread but posting here too because I am so angry.

I am so fed up of men blaming abuse and violence on their addiction or on alcohol or on mental illness. He's portrayed himself as a victim. 'Oh I was drinking heavily but I'm rich enough to seek expensive therapy for all my troubles. This email just landed in my inbox and I was so helpless I couldn't stop myself watching it'.

I grew up with alcoholics in my family. They were flawed, but good people. I've also drunk heavily, but never ended up with abuse videos on my laptop. It's not an excuse and it takes all focus away from the true victims. This is vile. I am so angry.
