Excuse my psychoanalysis I think quarantine is just getting to me lol but I'm convinced part of Grace's insistence on being seen as a CEO rather than a normal influencer who has merch is because her parents (and their social circles) wouldn't take her seriously otherwise.

I really get the vibe that her family are very competitive and I'm sure the 'academics' in her family probably wouldn't take her seriously as an influencer who posts butt selfies, but probably more so if she is a CEO of 3 companies. I'm sure being an influencer was fine while she was at uni, but now she's graduated I imagine there's pressure for her to prove herself further. Just my view from knowing some very wealthy families similar to Grace's where this dynamic is quite intense.

Fantastic TikTok video from Alice, very clearly explained all the things Grace does wrong, with relevant examples and clear points and of course, Grace goes for the almost ludicrously, ridiculous reply of "Whataboutism" and half truths. Whataboutism, is a reply to criticism, were instead of replying to the actual critique, you just say.. "Oh, but what about so and so... they do it too".. "Oh what about this person.. they do that".. so instead of taking on your faults and actions, you simply deflect and say other people do it too. (so it must be fine that you do it).. then threw in the sexism card on another woman. Absolutely ridiculous and despicable as always. Grace's ego and arrogance never ceases to amaze.

Those shorts do not look comfortable
Also the irony of her saying the industry is copy paste when literally everything tala releases is the same but in different colours. Her business is not sustainable!!! Sit down grace!!! Oh wait. You probably can't, or those restrictive shorts would split every seam and your thighs would finally be released to take a much needed gulp of air!!

well scotland have just announced that Dubai has been placed on the quarantine list. England etc will probs soon follow. I imagine there will be many upset influencers soon!
I actually reported Grace to the Met Police for that trip to Dubai, showed them the sesh and location (think it was Five Palm Jumeirah - she's not there anymore so don't feel bad about saying the location) and said she didn't self-isolate when she got back. they basically said there's nothing they could do as Dubai is in a travel corridor so she didn't have to self-isolate on return (said nothing about how mad the party was). That just speaks to how disorganised our handling of COVID has been - in what world does it make sense to clamp down to the extent that you have to be careful going on a walk in the woods, but then put laws in that mean it's fine to do coke in Dubai with 60 strangers (as evidenced by Yoyo not knowing who Grace was and that she was at his party), get on a flight in a contained space for 5 hours and instantly go to the gym, the shops, etc. when you return?

Surely the obvious consequence of travel corridors is exactly what happened - one place gains popularity as a party holiday destination, everyone mixes there and lets loose, then they come back and bring COVID back to the UK or leave the more contagious variant at their destination? It really gets to me when rich people are able to play the law like this

Idk if this is just me but I cannot fathom renovating a huge million pound house and decking it out to be your dream home from scratch, only to sell it and all the furniture just two years later. I would be so upset but she doesn’t seem bothered?? Rich people are crazy

Grace has always seemed to me like she hates being an influencer and I found it so weird like ... you chose this job? You may have 'fallen' into it, but you chose to put content on YouTube and to post on Instagram, et cetera. She's a bloody millionaire with mummy and daddy's connections - she could have done anything so why continue to be bitchy about it?
because imo she thinks she's better than other influencers because she went to oxford, has 'businesses' she thinks are superior, etc etc. she has a god complex, and I think she wishes she could leave influencer life; I believe she hoped that her businesses could've expanded to where she could just be a CEO businesswoman giving talks and shit. but I think she's come to realize she can't, and has a serious complex about it.

It is ALL angles. she looks like a regular fucking person. She is pretty, but not anything other women should be wishing to look like instead of themselves. Fuck the pressure to look like a split second in an influencer’s life when clearly they don’t even look like that themselves

So sick of this hyped up consumerism "you aren't ready" rhetoric from influencers. I see this all the time, not just with Grace. Although she likes to think we're never ready for what she has next lol but anyways.

I know this is petty but I find it so annoying. What do you mean I'm not ready??? I'm not ready for what, MORE shitty clothes? Oh yeah damn it's just too much for me to see the same basic design and knowing that it must feel like compressed paper because of the shit quality 🥺

also people keep saying that she's acknowledging her privilege but I literally have to disagree - she actually keeps downplaying it by saying that she went to private school "on a scholarship"... as if she wouldn't have been able to go without it?

at no point has she ever noted who her maternal grandfather was and how much privilege he and his wife had, nor the fact that she's swimming in generational wealth and is a trust fund baby

the whole "I almost got kicked out of uni for not paying" and "my mum worked full-time" bs is honestly insulting - both to her minions who take everything at face value and those are from genuinely wc backgrounds who have almost been kicked out of uni for not paying rent/being able to afford aspects of student life

God the Sky News video made my toes curl. Of all the ways she could’ve responded to that question that was probably the worst. Like someone else said I actually thought the screen had frozen. 😬 I’m confused why she seemed totally unprepared for that question - a journalist was bound to ask her about it at some point and I would’ve assumed she had prepared a canned response for that event.

It just proves that this “transparency/upfront about my privilege” shtick is an act. People who accept their privilege don’t visibly squirm when they are confronted with it.

I was about to post about this - her painting is heavily heavily inspired by @josephinezentner. She acknowledged that in her story today, but why wouldn’t she mention the artist in the original post before she got flooded with praise about how talented and creative she is?

It’s also kinda confusing - she is claiming she was originally just drawing the statues in her home, and happened to stumble across this artist which inspired her, but the paintings are so similar in style that I don’t buy it. Also notice how she didn’t post a picture of the art which actually inspired her - I’ve attached the art that she actually ripped off.
urgh this pure rubs me up the wrong way because there is nothing wrong with copying an artist's work to practice or even to put up in your own home where only you and a few people will see it, but to do so and post it on your story to a million people and basically pass it off as your own/a strange coincidence that you have the same styles is so shady to me.
Seems like she realised that after the fact and panic-posted the artist she took 'inspo' from to avoid criticism

Not exactly related to the video claim. But how many times do we see her posting gifted stories with #gifted in such small letters, hidden behind buttons or the same font colour as the background

so I would say that a lot of the claims abo it herpractices aren’t far off

It’s one thing to take a heap of holidays. It’s another thing to build an online persona about work life balance and suggest that your lifestyle is the norm. It’s actually disgusting.

I refuse to wank around with reusable straws and sannie pads when the big corporations are the main polluters, and are doing nothing to change. Belgian Airlines runs 3,000 empty flights per year just to maintain its place in the landing/take-off hierarchy. And we really think forking out for multi-use cotton buds is going to make a dent??

Has anyone else listened to the sample of the introduction to the audiobook on the Amazon page? A story about how her babysitting job was so difficult 😂 and just a very weird one to begin the book withView attachment 532025
Im really, really struggling to articulate how i feel. Firstly, she mentions poo about fifteen times in the opening pages?! She speaks about "convincing middle class parents that paying someone to supervise their children" blah blah. Why mention the "middle class" bit? To make herself sound relatable?

And why is she so obsessed with her baby sitting "job"? And she moans that she got "only £6" but the parents didn't even go out and minimum wage for 16 year olds in 2015 was around £3.80 an hour so that's probably fine?! Ughhhhhh so whole thing is so werid
