I think Gizzi has a great figure, I don’t know why she’s so hell bent against it.
I think she honestly looks better as a bigger girl, she just looks like someone who eats well and enjoys her food at her current size. Think Nigella. To a certain extent I "get it", as someone who used to eat like a horse and never put on any weight. That's what's really bugging her, it used to be effortless and now if she wanted to lose a substantial amount of weight, she'd have to really change her whole lifestyle. But that's being in your 40s babe. You just have to weight up whether your enjoyment if things is more important to you than how you look to other people.

As annoying as Gizzi is she’s also one of my favourite people to hate follow because she just has zero self awareness and can’t even see what a raving narcissist she is 😂 comments like this crack me up. I’m all for self love but who in their right mind announces to everyone they are funny and attractive like this? Also managed to reference how broken and special she is. Oh please Gizzi… give it a rest…

I've had to work with Gizzi before and within 5 mins of meeting I knew I would never want to work with her again. She is a really terrible person. Also a lot of these food influencers are deeply unhappy people with terrible social skills. Don't let the colourful instagram shots of meals fool you.

Another insufferable one is De Lacey (sorry I know this thread is not about her) a simultaneously smug and whiny person, her true personality tends to come out when shes not interacting with fawning subscribers.

Is there anyone in London media/restaurants/leisure set that isn’t a cokehead? Even sainted Nigella admitted it (years ago obvs). I’m a super square who doesn’t indulge (was on prescription mind altering substances in my 20s so didn’t dare for one thing) but always thought that a party that needed coke to be fun was a shit party. I’m aware others enjoy. But now, with middle class drug users knowing about dealing violence, smuggling up orifices and also the cartels and poppy fields and the amount of blood (and shit) on their drugs - how is it justified? Also they could cut it with anything that could kill you. I’m arguing for legalisation and regulation aren’t I…
The hospitality industry is rife with substance abuse, its also really normalised behind the scenes. I think there are a few chefs who are trying to bring awareness to it but majority just shrug their shoulders and have a "it is what it is" attitude.

Slightly late on this one, but it makes me so uncomfortable that she's essentially going round slating different pie and mash shops around London on her huge platform. Most don't have a social media presence to reply so her followers will take her word as gospel. Just seems unfair to me!
