There’s a documentary about Celine Dion in Vegas and you don’t have to be a fan to watch it (I’m NOT ). It’s an eye opener, and there is no way Adele could hack that level of work and stress. Cher is another workaholic that comes to mind. They are non stop, those old broads. Adele’s voice would be screwed after a week.

Most artists say touring is their favourite part of the job and that’s what everything they work on builds up to?

I remember being at an adele concert and she noticed a young girl getting pushed against the barrier at the front and she stopped her gig and got off the stage herself to pull this girl over the barrier so she wasn't getting crushed.
At the same gig she made the lighting team blare the lights onto the crowd because she couldn't see them and wanted to see how many people came. When she saw the amount of people she fell on her knees and asked "WHY YEW AWL COMIN SEEIN ME?! THATS MENTAWWWWL"
She always seems so humbled by the amount of fans she has too which makes me think she's not let fame go to her head too much.

Not getting the Adele hype at all

Adele must have thought if she sat pretending to cry waving those stupid nails around her fans would presume that not in a million years would I let my fans down I've got my nails on ready to go. It's the bleedin crew they ain't ready cos of the lurgy. Think Adele can't be arsed anymore. She has made her money!

I liked her, but the fact she counts Corden as a good mate speaks volumes.

This has to be one of the biggest diva-turns in history. Remember when she was a working class Londoner, on the heavy side? She’d be out shopping low-key in leggings and no makeup after Someone Like You. Then, inexplicably in the last few years she has become thinner, primped to within an inch of her life, up her own arse, splashing millions and millions on houses and twatting her fans around cancelling concerts. She’s become insufferable.

The "Live Laugh Love" segment of society.

I read on Deuxmoi that the crew she used for the residency were all non-union. That’s pretty shitty for them as it means they have no rights and won’t get paid if a show is cancelled. Also, pretty much everyone in Vegas entertainment is union, you’ve actually got to work really hard to find non-union people, it must have been deliberate.

And I thought she was meant to be a woman of the people.

I agree but overall I think her star is on the wane. Her music is stuck in a rut and her personality is becoming increasingly irritating and unpleasant. I think it’s going to be pretty much downhill from now on in terms of her career unless she pulls something astonishing out of the bag.

As if it wasn't bad enough people had to be fully vaccinated to buy a ticket in the first place. She's had so much poor Adele comments in the media today on the radio and TV from presenters and it's disgusting. Poor Adele? Her shows aren't about bells and whistles. She can pop a dress on, stand by a mic and belt out tunes without the need of a big product that you'd expect from other music acts. It's not poor Adele at all. My sympathy goes with the people who have spent a fortune to travel from all over the world, taking time off work to go somewhere for a show they won't see and won't be compensated for when they can't make when it's rescheduled for.

Can’t believe she’s risking her career for a man! Does she not listen to her own songs?!
