I've been surprised how many don't get it! I think the reason Chat and reacts got it was due to reading the lyrics directly, you can't read those lyrics as a woman and not get it.
I tried that video but they were reaching so hard for imgoingtogetyouback to be about Joe I switched off

the biggest plot twist of fandom
oh dear watching that tarot guy and he says Matty was like 'if you'll give me a million dollars I'll take it' in a way that he would just take what was given and give zero in return (which kinda checks with my imagination of him lol) and she was completely delulu thinking he was the end game. I was watching Feud about Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. The huge part of it was how they couldn’t accept they weren’t young anymore and holding on to when they had the world at their feet.
Do we see Taylor going the same way? How she treated Olivia Rodrigo to me says she will. She’s definitely bitter and will grab on to anything to be relevant I think. I can’t see her going gracefully. I hope I’m wrong though.
edit: the absolute gall of her to sue Olivia for a song that sounds nothing like hers to then release imgoingtogetyouback actually shocks me.

i feel like a member of mensa when i watch reaction videos bc by that point i've come to different conclusions in five days, but in reality i'd sound like a caveman if i tried to articulate thoughts after one listen
Timely you mention that I was watching the concert with my daughter today and clocked a song from Reputation that had never occurred to me but reading the lyrics DAMN... it was Ready for it. I thought maybe I was reading too much into it but the lowercase letters.
Anyway the lyrics that stood out:

(In matty songs she often talks about being haunted so similar theme)

(This doesn't sound like Joe, he doesn't have the arrogance and the confidence to pull it off)

(1975 has a song Robbers. She ran off in 2014 due to the drugs. And Joe never ran off without saying sorry certainly not at that point.)
But surely we are reading to much into it, surely she hasn't really been writing about him all this time?!
It would mean bar Lover (anyone noticed any of those songs for Matty lyrics?) he's been on every album of hers since they met in 2014.
Genuinely if she's been that desperately in love with him for so long my heart breaks for her.
Why do I find the idea of Jack producing the next 1975 album so funny? Like he’s going to be in the middle of this song battle just like

IF Taylor truly put out this album as a way to impress Matty and attempt to be as pretentious as he is and he truly does not care either way about her.... well if I were her I would buy legitimately dying of embarrassment right now with how this album has been received
