The chat on her Instagram yesterday about silly mistakes just made me think she’s doing these mistakes on purpose now. She’s never done them before as far as I’m aware, and we all make typing errors, it’s not exclusive to adhd. In my opinion it’s all for show now.
I think most people are familiar with the idea that you are too close to your own work to be able to check it properly. That's why proof readers exist! It's not a sign of ADHD to make occasional errors, it's just a sign of being human. Her perfectionism (linked to her ASD) means that she blows tiny errors out of proportion though and this is why she feels she has a problem. Conveniently since the spectre of ADHD has arisen, more and more errors have been appearing in her videos to prove that she does have ADHD. She is about as subtle as a sledgehammer as not only does she litter her videos with mistakes now but she needs to constantly highlight them just in case anyone slow on the uptake has missed them.

I think she has convinced herself that she is some kind of disability advocate but what she is doing is so damaging to the disabled. She is either unable or unwilling to acknowledge her pretty obvious ASD and is instead doing a bad job of hamming up any ADHD tendancies she might have. If she goes on to get a ADHD diagnosis then it just looks like the system can be manipulated by anyone that has read the list of symptoms and can do a rather unconvincing job of acting distracted and making errors all over the place. It just adds to the already pervasive narrative that ADHD is over diagnosed and therefore a diagnosis is worthless. Meanwhile people who genuinely have ADHD and struggle with the symptoms will be tarred with the same brush.

This where I saw it, it’s so obvious she intentionally wrote AHHD on the vlog. She has never made mistakes before and it’s obvious that her husband is not on board with this! She’s making herself look a fool.
she was the ADHD label to look cool!

It’s people like her that make people like me with a rare disability that’s fairly hidden be not taken seriously. Not everything is content to revive a failing channel

You can imagine the content she's already planning if she gets a diagnosis eg
Parenting with Adhd, Adhd mother parenting children with autism, travelling with Adhd, working with adhd diagnosis, managing food shop with adhd, signs and symptoms etc.
She's most likely drooling at the thought of all the content she can make.

My first thought was she actually made him sound harsh and a bit cruel actually by what he said to her about it. Then I realised she probably concocted the entire conversation in her head for content.

What’s next? Is she going to tell us fibbings a symptom of ADHD? Cos she’s got such a creative mind.

to be fair to her, chronic perfectionism can be an ADHD thing. Controlling things etc etc.

I do agree about the on purpose mistakes though.

Her latest vlog it’s interesting she owns up to the “free carer tickets”. If I’m honest I’m a bit gobsmacked by this. They clearly don’t need the help and her can take their children for days out substantially cheaper than others, why? She really knows how to play the system to the max doesn’t she

I think she is trying to position herself as a 'disability' influencer. Remember a while ago when she admitted that now the children are getting older she wasn't sure what the focus of her channel should be? Well, I think she's found it now.

I agree that it's outrageous that she is getting carer passes for these attractions. All children need someone to look after them at these kinds of places and her children's care needs are clearly no higher than most neurotypical children. She is brazen about it and I get the feeling she once again is viewing it as a hack to make family days out more affordable. They need to reform the system so that someone diagnosed with autism isn't automatically assumed to be eligible to these kinds of perks. The focus should be on the needs of the individual and not their diagnosis.

I will preface that I know every child with autism is different however they do come across very low needs and good at following instructions. I’m so used to interacting with people on the autism spectrum now that hers wouldn’t even peak my radar, Rhi on the other hand I would assume autism.

I came across her a while ago whilst looking for Disney tips, then I found this thread. Wow all she does is run around gift shops grabbing items shouting “cute” “spirit jersey”
She says her kids can’t q but on a cruise flog they wait 45 min for a water slide and 30 min for a character autograph!!
They seem to miss out so many amazing attractions at Disney in the quest for content for example the safari is the best experience ever! I was thinking whilst watching why does the dad seem so miserable and often stays behind at the hotel he must be sick of her! These trips are so regimented and she’s exhausting it doesn’t look like fun at all and what Is with the sharing a cookie, hot dog etc I get it portions are big but it doesn’t stretch that far. Anyway I’ve stopped watching her, no adult at fidget dresses up like that daily and I cannot stand to hear her squeal “lounge fly”or “Disney tired” one more time! The joke is she hardly even knows much about Disney!!

I feel like Rhi, Bella and Will show some quite obvious signs of autism. Zara seems to present differently than the others and in my opinion is less obvious.

My daughter has a friend with autism who is quite similar to Will and Bella. They are actually more placid and compliant than their peers and absolutely hate getting in trouble. They are very black and white about rule following though so it can cause social issues when their friends start to push the boundaries a bit. Their biggest struggles overall are generally around friendships and socialising as they just seem to struggle to make connections with people and have very different interests. I am convinced that Will and Bella are similar!

I honestly think the parents of my daughter's friend would be so perplexed and almost offended if I suggested that they looked into getting a carers pass for attractions or using DAS. It is patently obvious that their child doesn't need this. What their child does need though is lots of parental input and support in forming and maintaining friendships. They are very proactive about organising playdates and going the extra miles to support their children integrating. They gently encourage her at least to learn about the common interests of her peers and make sure she is dressed appropriately and similarly to her friends. Rhi never does any of this and actively pushes her kids to obsess over Disney and dress like toddler. You very rarely see her organise playdates with the children's classmates and I generally don't think she even picks up on their struggles in this area because of her own autism. It's all very sad and frustrating that her main concern with regards to the children's autism is that they claim every privilege or special access possible.

Most of these aren't done in that way though in the UK. Usually you can use being in receipt of carers allowance or the disabled person being in receipt of DLA/PIP. Neither of which says what the needs or the diagnosis is.

Well I feel ridiculous now after listening to Rhi's podcast and her proving that she totally, absolutely, completely doesn't have autism like her all four of her children and other family members related to her.

Turns out, not only does she score astoundingly low on the autism assessment questionnaire she completed on the internet but she scores incredibly highly on the empathy questionnaire. So all the obvious autistic traits and behaviours she displays on virtually every vlog and video are just figments of our fevered imagination. In fact we are all such trolls that we are probably just making all of this up and she is a completely normal mum that struggles with a few ADHD symptoms here and there.

I can't even begin to deal with the level of manipulation and delusion in that podcast. It just reaffirms to me more than ever that she is in desperate need of intervention and help. She seemingly has no self awareness whatsoever and yet has educated herself so expertly on ADHD/ASD that she knows the answers to give to ensure the 'right' outcome. She has absolutely no interest in knowing herself or her children, she just wants everyone (including herself) put into nice, neat boxes with labels attached. She can't deal with the complexity and intricacies of understanding individual people. It has to be black and white and neat and tidy. Yet another sign of her (apparently nonexistent) ASD!

I’m not a Disney fanatic so I’m so sure but is it a thing to set aside a couple of hours of the park day to go to Disney Springs shopping/browsing?
As much as I would have a little mooch and shop while there I don’t think I would dedicate an afternoon to it

I suppose it depends on the park as remember she doesn’t do queues like the rest of us so she does the rides much faster

  • For people who find standing and or queuing a substantial barrier to accessing services.
  • This may include people who physically cannot stand or queue for any significant amount of time, or people that have an issue with understanding the concept of queuing.

  • Neither of which apply to any of her children. My 4 year old can’t wait in a queue either because he doesn’t understand the concept, I don’t get special treatment for it, I just have to pacify him. Her children may have ASD but I don’t for a second think they need special assistance/priority access to anything. Maybe their autism affects schooling but I don’t think it impacts all areas of their lives.

I may be wrong but I just think she's doing her children a massive disadvantage and is making there diagnosis their personality!
They can que don't be ridiculous Rhi she just loves the attention of it all.....she will be wearing a disability lanyard herself once she gets her obvious diagnosis!

The more I think about it the more I completely agree with the person who suggested all these trips are funded by inheritance. Namely DO4s. They used to go to holiday parks and caravan stays. Sometimes gifted. Nothing wrong with that, if anything I’d say the kids seemed happier. To go from that to multiple disneyworld/cruise holidays is a huge jump.

I also think Neil doesn’t share money with Rhi. I think he pays for the house and supports the family, but her shopping habits are funded by her “job”. This is why she insists she “has to work”. She means Neil won’t give her money to spend in b and m and previously joules and cath kidson
