Omg is she for fucking real?
She didn't get a fire in her belly at all, she didn't get anything other than anger and embarrassment when people where saying he's possibly autistic. She continued to lie about that kid wayyyyy past 2020 when she claims she started to research Autism and get a "fire in her belly". Why? Because she was embarrassed. She had a feeling Ronnie was autistic and still continued to lie about him, especially his speech. That's not a proud mum, that's a fucking cunt and a shitty mother. I can't put into words how fuming I am. She's done nothing but lie and drag him down since he was born.

She's only now pretending to accept Ronnie because it's good content for her and it fills her bucket that is in desperate need of validation and attention.

And Ronnie isn't brave. He isn't battling cancer, he has autism along with millions of others. It's really not that big of a deal especially considering he's no where near severe, if he was he wouldn't be a shiny bollock private school where absolutely no support is given to send children.
You can and will live an extremely normal and independent life with autism. She needs to zip her mugshot hole.

I don't look at Ronnie and think AUTISM. I look at her 2 kids on her stories, and all I see are 2 very spoilt kids who are extremely unpleasant to watch, and who are gonna grow up horrible entitled humans like their parents.

She won't talk about the EHCP process because she simply doesn't have a clue about any of it.

She doesn't have a fucking clue how hard it is for parents fighting for their child's education. She's a disgrace to the community, I don't talk about my eldest on here, I simply don't feel comfortable enough to when I'm here simply to snark, lets just say I'm absolutely ashamed and have currently unfollowed a lovely, well i thought lovely adhd/autism page because they've shared her story. She's lapping it allll up for her own fucking validation. She doesn't give a fuck about her own kid.

Private schools are shocking when it comes to dealing with sen children. She needs to put Ronnie in a better school setting where they can support him better. It's known knowledge that private schools are shocking for their knowledge about it all. So if Ronnie really is struggling, I still have my opinion on that, then she needs to think of him and not her. He doesn't need a private school.

I'm probably gonna get hung, drawn and quartered by a large percentage of people for this, but fuck it.

Why is it that with her, any diagnosis gets banded about like it's life limiting/severe?

I'm on the spectrum, have ADHD and OCD and was only very recently medically diagnosed, although it's been obvious to those who know me well for quite some time. I know I'm lucky that Ii've never struggled to a great extent academically or socially (I can mask well), but when I've had enough of anything I'm done, and I'm not shy of making it clear. I'm quite black and white in my thinking, and I guess others would say I'm blunt, although I just consider it straight-talking. I was always top of any class or peer group, could read and write before I went to school, and have always had high-level, well paid jobs. That being said, I couldn't tie my own laces until I was 8/9, or ride a bike, and I am very particular about order and the way my clothes fit and feel (cuffs have to be super tight, laces have to be done a certain way, no slouchy socks etc), and I'm quite picky with food.

However, I have friends whose children are on the spectrum and have severe SEN meaning their lives and the lives of those around them are majorly impacted. Some may never go to uni or hold down an office job, some won't go to college or mainstream school, and some won't ever live independently.

With Ron, whilst I agree he does seem socially detached, and clearly stims, I don't think the invisible speech needs and developmental delays she alludes to are related to any autism diagnosis, but are purely due to her lack of engagement as a parent. I say this, because everything he struggled with came on so rapidly once he started nursery and spent time with people outside of his immediate family. That doesn't fit with it ever having been related to autism. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm happy to be put right, but it does seem that any issues he has are more social/familial and he could clearly go on to live an entirely normal life once he can free himself of that grabby cow.

So now she is saying that they were thinking he may have been autistic at 15 months old yet when he was like 2 or 3 she had a massive rant about he could talk perfectly well thank you! She was also dubbing words over videos pretending to be him saying things like 'there'. Reversing videos and dragging him out to packed out places like Peppa world, funfairs, book signings, when apparently all along they suspected he was struggling and had autism. She's fucking vile.

Lately from the simpleton games she sets up for him I also get the impression that she thinks being autistic = being stupid!

I saw her post and wanted to slap her.

My twin sister has a 10 year old boy, we knew from 18 months he was different to his big brother and my children at that age. He’s very very vocal with ticks and shrieking, he will start stimming himself into oblivion if out and about. He is sensory with food, people animals etc he loves to touch/smell over and over. It’s my fave thing about him as he’s so cuddly.

My sister is 4 years!!! 4 years into getting him diagnosed and an EHCP, Covid really set things back for so many parents.

How she thinks an EHCP will drop into her lap I do not know, my nephew has had numerous sessions with the education psychologist, play specialists, SEN help for normal working people just isn’t there, my sister is on her knees with it, as she, us as a family and his teacher at primary are certain he won’t cope in mainstream secondary. So hoping to finally get this all done in the next few months.

SEN parents I salute you, I see you, I’m so sorry this absolute fraud has done you all a disservice, I see first hand every day what my sister goes through, altho we wouldn’t change our beautiful boy for the world, it’s hard, so hard and we all dig in and help out with him, privately behind closed doors, not on social media. Because just like everyone else he deserves his privacy about any diagnosis, and to tell people when he is ready.

Long time lurker here. Today's shit show finally broke me. My fabulous son is 18 today. It has been a constant battle to get support for him in school, now college and soon university. He has had his struggles and its been hard for all of us. But do you know what? I've not broadcast his diagnosis to strangers. That is for him to do or not.
