About Trump: Lando just won a race. He’s just talking out of his ass and should have shut up about it three sentences earlier. It was clearly not anywhere near some endorsement apart from “he’s a president, that’s a respectable figure”. If I was him I would hate seeing myself all over the trump social media now though but what you gonna do about it. He’s just the driver.

Political education is only taught in any depth in the UK at A Level or Uni, pretty much as a specialist subject. It's pretty much why our country is fucked
As for history and geography, I only studied history to age 14, and didn't get anywhere near the 20th century.
Geography I did til 16 and was about traffic surveys and weather.
Considering he didn't even finish school, grew up in an incredibly wealthy family, in a very afluent area and mixed with kids of the same ilk, it's no wonder he's completely ignorant.
I love him, but he's never lived in the 'real world'. His views will be so far removed from his fans that they can't really hate him for it.

I didn’t hear him say anything about agreeing with his politics or about how Trump is an amazing man or anything like that. He just talked about it being an honour to be recognized by the ex-president of the US, which fair enough, even if he is a head

Tbf, LN did say DT was someone you’ve got to respect on many levels and referred to him solely by first name, not as a former president or even by his surname, which I think says a lot. Even though overall I agree LN was not trying to endorse DT or his politics, he said more than he should haveYeah I agree

Perhaps he only reads the Sports news.no, just no, please, no. If Lando doesn't know who Trump is that he must be absolutely stupid in real life. Which I don't think he is, he is just a massive ignorant and hypocrite who should finally learn when it's better to NOT comment at all.

I think the world wars are very briefly taught at around age 10 but it doesn’t go into any detail on dictatorship.
You start GCSE topics around age 14 so thats when they go into depth with what happened, before that the main topics are usually Henry VIII and the plagues. I guess they think talking about someone that had 6 wives and half the population being wiped out is the best way to keep a bunch of 12 years olds interested
Although even if you do choose to do history, the topics are chosen by the school so some may even choose to skip over WW2 all together

I wasn't taught it because I opted to do geography at GCSE (post-14, where you opt for one subject or the other) and they don't start 20th century history before that.
I know about it because my grandparents' were veterans.

Lmaooo I’m still stunned Daniel was there last year. Anyone other than Lewis would baffle me. I could see Charles definitely wanting to but I don’t think he’s quite there yet. Max I feel would rather scoop his eyeballs out with a grapefruit spoon than attend something like this. Lando also would probably enjoy it but again, he’s not well known enough. I’d love to see any of them there but idk
