Zara clothing size - Can anyone confirm if Zara is small for sizing?

I’d still be wary! I bought an XS skirt that would not fit me (6/8) but was more like a size 12. Think it’s because some items are made cheap and they cut all the fabric in one go (if that makes sense) so material at the bottom of the pile can sometimes be bigger.

This is what puts me off buying from them. I’m a size 8 bottom and size 8/10 top depending on the shop. Zara small and medium still doesn’t fit me right.
