Any tennis fans here? I follow the French Open and Wimbledon mainly as the others I find too hard with the time difference.

Wimbledon is my ultimate fave though. Not having it last year was awful! So happy to have it back, I actually can’t wait until Monday!

I’ve been a few years back and it was everything I dreamed it would be. I can’t wait to go back one day.

Little disappointed Nadal has withdrawn as he is a fave. I think I will be rooting on Tsitsipas this year. Anyone but Djokovic for me

Oooh I love Wimbledon if Nadal and Federer arn't in it I think Djok is bound to win which is unfortunate as I don't like the guy!

I used to watch it, can't be bothered anymore. There are no really interesting characters these days, they made tennis watchable.

Yes I am a huge tennis fan! Can’t believe Tsitispas today knocked out in the first day! I was rooting for him to win. Also I’m gutted that Halep pulled out, she’s my favorite

I am also gutted about Tsitsipas! Maybe he hasn’t recovered from the 5-setter with Novak at the French open. Shame!

Born in Canada, Romanian dad and Chinese mother. So obviously she plays under the British tag because you have far more chance of making it due to the hundreds of millions the LTA pour in to trying to make new stars with the facilities available. Tim Henman is the last genuine Brit who became a good player from training here. Andy Murray is at least British but if he hadn't gone as a teenager to train in Spain with the likes of Nadal he wouldn't have become as good as if he had practiced here.

Such a shame Andy Murray is out. He tried so hard,he will be gutted .
So many new names and young energetic players I think we are about to have a change over from the older ones who reigned so long.

Have only just found this thread. I love tennis, it’s the only sport I watch on TV. Have been lucky enough to to visit a few times, last time was 2018. Have just watched Emma Radacanu win her match. What a talent she is. Now watching Federer and Norrie. Liking that there is more opportunity for the lower seeded players this year. Would love to have tickets for the tournament. Will try again in the next ballot.,

Emma Radacanu is going to be something very special. Some of the shots she played today were breath taking.

I’m gutted Kyrgios is out! I know he’s an absolute wanker but he’s so much craic to watch and I was loving him and Venus together in the doubles

Shapovalov played amazingly yesterday, I hope he goes far. Also I used to hate Djokovic but I’m seeing a different side to him this tournament?! He seems way nicer and more personable than before

He's only nice because he's winning. You will soon see the normal Djok if he starts to lose the match.

I’ve just got two tickets for centre court Monday ! AELTC released more on line during the football tonight and I am already registered with them. I got in the queue and got lucky. I cannot believe my luck.

Yes, last time was 2018 , we saw Serena Williams. I had the best time, the sun was shining and the atmosphere was electric. Have registered for the ballot each year but this year is so different. The people that had tickets for last year were able to keep them for this year ( which is fair enough) so there were none to be had. They also started at a lower capacity and they said they would release more as the tournament went on. The email came tonight and I joined the queue whilst my husband was watching the football. I just took the first ones offered, centre court, fairly near the back but who cares. i will get to see Djokovic, Coco Gauff and then Federer

. I just need to arrange some childcare !

But will keep a lookout over the next few days for more emails. I’m off work next week but think if I did get tickets I’d give them to my parents as much as it would pain me

I think you can log in any time though and get in the queue and it will tell you what’s available, so try early in the morning If you don’t have any luck tonight. I was really quick but still waited prob 25 mins in the queue. Once you’ve selected them they give you ten mins to check out and pay. I guess some people will be timed out and others just won’t want what’s on offer. I think they are only selling one or two days in advance so there should be other opportunities. Good luck I hope you get something. My head is whizzing and I’m try to figure out who’s going to take and collect my kids from school and possibly have them over night
