Yep and the poster above you. I was fortunate to be on Court 1 on the Saturday so watched Emma win and it was obvious that she was a star in the making. She doesn't really have any weaknesses to attack and so her opponents have to really force their shots. It's not luck that everyone keeps saying that her opponent didn't play their best, she is forcing them to take risks and go for lower percentage shots because she is so goodI called it![]()
I'm in favour of it too. A few professional tennis players having to miss a tennis tournament or tournaments is nothing compared to what the people of Ukraine are going through. What's everyone's thoughts on Wimbledon banning Russian and Belarusian players? I wish more tournaments would follow suit to be honest...
I think it's disgusting. People shouldn't be discriminated against over something they cannot help. The players should be allowed to make a living and weakening tournaments is poor for sponsors and spectators. If your leader going in to a war that wasn't necessary is enough to ban sports people who don't play any part in it then when Bush/Blair did their own war Brits and Yanks shouldn't have been involved. What's everyone's thoughts on Wimbledon banning Russian and Belarusian players?
