Ah yes forgot about them. The term 'Cheeky Nandos' is enough to put me off ever stepping foot in there again.Every time I'm dragged to Nandos, I'm underwhelmed...
I really don’t get Subway at all. I only recently had one for the first time - we live near a drive-thru and the pandemic options for a lunch ‘out’ were limited - but the ordering process is just exhausting, I felt like I was taking an exam! I don’t know what it is with Subway and MacDonalds but both seem to have a thing where neither really display their menus at the drive-thrus and you’re just expected to know what to order somehow. I never do and I usually end up with something I don’t really want just because it’s all I can see.Subway, only tried them once but the barrage of 20 questions and the time to get the sub is insane, no good to me.
A Spoons employee made a tiktok account which basically documented him working in the kitchens there and pretty much all of the food items there are ready meals. The curries, lasagnes definitely are. I'd much rather go somewhere a bit nicer for food like pizza express or an independent Italian and then Spoons for the cheap drinks rather than eat thereWeatherspoons as well. Had a curry there which tasted exactly like a supermarket ready meal.
We’ve got a local WimpyOh my, WImpy, Ah the memories of a well cooked meal, many wouldn't believe this but Wimpy are still
alive and kicking. I haven't been to Wimpy in many years, if I ever got the chance, I'd be in one!!
