Weather has cooled down again. 
The torrential downpour overnight, makes weeding the garden that little bit easier !
Oh yes, I have a root of a bush to dig up, last nights thunderstorm will hopefully of
help prepare for removal.

My cat has a leg injury that we were told would never be repairable but she’s defying the odds and starting to use the leg again 
I’m very tired a lot of the time but finding happiness in small things - warm coffee, seeing my flowers in the garden bloom and change daily, the sun peaking through the clouds, reading a book in the evening in the garden, days in and out with my little boy, not being hard on myself with diets and listening to what my body needs every day (even if that means cake and carb overload!) I’m just letting myself be calmer, and it feels lovely 
I’m in a gardening group on Facebook. Seems to be all Americans - It’s crazy seeing gardening bringing together people from all across the political spectrum 🥲
Being home. I've had a shocking week, work is so so busy and my sleep schedule has been all over the place. I'm so glad the week is finally over. I came home and ate onion rings in bed, I have no regrets.
I have a new hi-tech cooling system for my mattress. I haven’t been this cool in years. I’m over the moon

Participated enough on Facebook that they finally stopped showing me mental health ads. Ooh n they’re showing me bookworm and introvert content too. That’s more like it 
My youngest cat chasing a sweet wrapper around the room … and she’s using all four legs despite the vet saying her injured one would never be in use again 
My boss asked to see me yesterday. I thought it was to dump more work on me but was surprised to be informed that I was getting a pay rise.
