What’s making you happy right now?

As the title suggests, it’s just a thread to post in whenever something has made you happy and you’d like to share it! No matter how big or small, happiness is so subjective and personal ☺

I guess I’ll start 🤣 I’m happy I still have a week off work to just completely chill out at home, play with my Christmas presents and spend time with my partner.

I'm happy that my partner has a few days off for Christmas so the 3 of us can spend some quality time together

I'm happy I've got a tub of Heroes with my name on it to demolish later on 🤩😂

As someone who suffers quite badly from SAD, I was pleased/relieved to finally fly out of England to South Africa, where its now summertime and long days & nights.

Those extra few hours of natural daylight have made all the difference to my mental wellbeing and general happiness levels

Spending some lone time with my little dude; he’s suspected high functioning (currently being assessed) and he’s talking chemical elements and their associated numbers and letters from the periodic table 🤣 I’m loving this chat so much. He’s currently upstairs hunting for some science book to show me what krypton looks like - I was told off when I suggested that is what superman is afraid off “That’s a film mummy... not real life”. Calm your bits son, calm your bits... 🤣🤣

  • I'll be continuing to work from home for the next couple of weeks as well, unless there is an unexpected crisis, which is a huge relief.
  • I have plenty of good books to read as a result of my greedy haul in the past couple of years. Book hoarding has paid off this year for sure.
  • Caught up with someone I haven't spoken to in years thanks to a random call and it has cheered me up to know that we're still friendly.
  • I think I have finally grasped what "putting myself first" means and as a person who bends over backwards for the comfort of others, I can feel the effect of this even in the smallest decisions I now make. Hoping to carry this into the new year.

I feel like the Xmas period and seeing family and pretending life was normal for a few days has had the effect of a factory reset on me.

I can now go into the new year relaxed and calm ready for whatever 2021 throws at me.

Seeing my family on Christmas Day gave me a boost, I hadn’t seen my sister and her partner since August and seeing my nephews made my day.

I’m happy because I’m really hopeful for 2021. Will be starting house hunting, going to book a fab spa break with my friend and who knows what else...hopefully 🤰🏼

That I found Tattle, back in October.

I was a Digital Spy reject, but was so pleased that after a Google search, I ended up here ❤

I’m happy that my in-laws have gone home after Christmas. I loved having them here but now I can sit on the couch wearing no bra and fart whenever I want 😂

Knowing that as I sit here there's a box of orange matchmakers in my line of site begging to be opened.

I’ve completed gutted the kitchen today and decluttered to make room for my new tassimo. This years been so tit, but honestly I’m learning to find happiness in super small things and my kitchen being tidy and super clean is making me feel good.

That the box of Bendicks mint chocolate’s that I hid right at the back of the cupboard has not been found by the husband or kids yet & I can keep sneaking off for the odd one or two....😋

Being able to spend the time with my kids and my OH (although wish it could’ve been longer, I’m back at work tomorrow night after 3 nights off). I still feel so exhausted from work.

Also snacks, lots of them. 😍

Tattle is making me very happy, okay it's more or a less a female dominated forum and I'm one of a handful of men but I've managed to fit in here quite well. I've even started up new threads when they are needed, I've seen a few threads overrun so I've just started a new one and got the old one closed. AT least I can be give completely honest comment or point of view which is for me a real bonus.

Off work until 5th. First time in 12 years both partner and myself have the full Christmas break off.

Started going out for more walks - hoping to get moving a bit more (wfh has really tipped my already majorly unfit a off a cliff of fatness 😭)

Have had a lovely Christmas and have a few things to book in for when lockdowns are over. Nice to have things to look forward to.
