I’ve unfollowed. I despise MLMs. I will always support small business where I can but MLMs like Tropic are not small businesses. Most people who get conned into them end up out of pocket. The money is made in recruiting, not selling.

Laura’s Insta is just one long promotion of MLMs now. I’m out.

I also have major issues with the ethics of replica perfumes like that shit she sells.It’s theft of other perfume houses ideas. I am a bit of a perfume addict but I mainly buy from small, independent perfume houses who create their own fragrances. They employ local people, source their packaging materials locally and sustainably and contribute to the wider economy. Shilling shit quality smelly water mass produced in a factory in China is not supporting small business, Laura.

Exactly - the entire rhetoric of hers that people involved in pyramid / MLM schemes can make money etc easily is such a load of crap. People like her who have a few thousand followers already will make (some) money. But the average person trying to sell to their social circle / family will NOT make any / large profit! In the majority of cases, they LOSE money after buy ins etc and that in itself is how MLMs make money - few people at the top make money and the majority at the bottom lose it

Also her narrative is very typical of emotional marketing eg “if a single mum can put food on the table because I’ve bought from her” - this evokes an emotional reaction designed specifically to get people to part with their cash. She’s full of crap.

I just skip through her stories these days cos it’s always an AD for some shit or about those perfumes she’s flogging. I bet she will be selling Body shop stuff soon like every other fucker on insta

All that rant on insta about tattle. Every time she advertises for more people to join her “team” not once had she mentioned that she gets a percentage of their earnings too. That every time they make a sale some if it lands in her greedy hand. Which speaks volumes about her attitude to life and how she treats people. It’s a token gesture all this boosting someone’s sales.

This is why her rant yesterday about ‘bettering‘ herself pissed me off enough to make me unfollow. If bettering yourself means exploiting other people, then I’m happy to be the piece of shit that I am.

She had a rant on stories about how the perfume business has made her life so much better. And how when the stories are fresh up she can see who has viewed them and can work out who is commenting on tattle. Then basically went on to talk about how if it wasn’t for the perfume MLM scheme, she wouldn’t have been able to pay off something 2 years early... and that she smells good while people on tattle are just putting out horrible things to the world usual.

Oh god From the cheap perfume? Lots of people I know are doing it and calling it their business. I wonder if it’s registered? Do you have to register mlm schemes as a business?

So she can tell who writes on Tattle because of who views her stories? Bad news for the people who know her in real life who are downright nasty on here!

She seems to have pissed a few people off when she was younger but who hasn’t

I actually like when she rants! She’s a feisty girl!

I just found out recently those FM “huns” sell perfume for £24 odd quid but they buy it for £17, the profit on them is quite a bit, I’m a perfume snob so would never buy this stuff but why haven’t the real perfumes company’s caught on to what they are doing?

I’m tempted to unfollow Laura now, she was once relevant but now she’s just turned into one of those moaning pain in the arse MLM sellers that everyone avoids!
