I think this could either be the most tone deaf or sarcastic post I’ve ever read. Ed Sheeran’s music is just different shades of white in terms of variety, it more or less follows similar templates both lyrically and musically. If you genuinely think he offers variety in terms of genre I think you are either enormously misguided or naive. Ed Sheeran is the the relentless face of plain guitar/synth ballads. But he’s doing a great job of extracting money from the pockets of very gullible people….for that he is to be admired.

This makes me feel so old, but I used to read Fast Forward magazine as a kid, and they were so desperate to make Jimmy Ray a thing. He was like a 50s-style rockabilly wannabe. He had one hit (if you can call it that), called "Are You Jimmy Ray?" Please tell me someone else remembers him?

I worked in Wigmore Street in eighties,one of the small roads near me had a creperie,always packed,it was lunchtime I had got a sandwich and looked over at creperie,loads of tables outside ,there was George Michael sitting outside with Pepsie and Shirley I presumed,omg he was soooo handsome,he looked like he was having a laugh Etc..I couldn’t stop looking at him.!swooned

I was reliably informed at peak fame by someone who grew up with her and knew her personally that she was a monstrous spoilt brat. Her parents were extremely wealthy and paid her way into fame apparently. I’m assuming that’s why it was so short lived.
