I really like the smell of marijuana. Never smoked it myself, but I like the smell.

Does anyone here like the smell of anything unusual or what are your favourite smells?

I get migraines and certain smells trigger them. The la vie est belle perfume makes me violently sick! When I have a migraine I become super sensitive to smells as well, I can smell things I normally can't, like the shampoo off my hair even though my hair might have been washed a few days before.

I love the smell of dove, of course petrol, firelighters, the plasticky smell off certain brochures and books.

Nothing too unusual but maybe someone else's will remind me of something else 🙂
I have the same thing with smells when I have a migraine. Some perfumes trigger a migraine also. Lately it’s the one that my boss has, and she is at work all the time. So I have a lot of migraines because of that.

The smell of fresh laundry is my absolute favourite. I also love the smell outside after it rains.

Certain perfumes trigger migraines for me as well. The slightest whiff of Armani Si or Armani Diamonds and I feel ill.

The first two already exist as candle fragrance oils - "clean linen" (or "crisp linen tonka") and "petrichor"

I love the smell of my pets' coats when they come back inside after popping out to do their business on a cold, wintry day ... that smoky sort of smell.
Puppies - they smell so good!
The hay that lines our chooks' nesting box ... it's a very comforting smell.

My Grandma! She has this smell to her that is all her. I've asked SO many times thinking its body wash, her detergent etc and its none of them. I just feel very comforted by it as it reminds me of childhood, softness and warmth. My mum said I've always done this even as a child, she would often see me steal a shawl from my Gran's room and then fall asleep wrapped in it.

Loads of people hate it , see the smoking weed thread on here lol

The solid block smells ok cos it has an almost spicy smell but the stuff that looks like a dead plant is minging. ( I'm not even going to pretend to know the correct terminology)

This is really random but did anyone else have the ‘my baby all gone’ doll from the early 90’s? The cherries smelt soooo good!

The smell after it’s just rained on a warm evening!
So this has a name, it’s called petrichor and a lot of places have made it into candles, wax melts and incense sticks. Do a little search on Etsy and there will be some there!
