My bed, defo. Just me, the cat, some good TV and snacks, minding my own business. Perfect.

I wish I could still go to my grandparents house 😢 my true happy place

This is weird but the SHOWER lol

I spend a good hour in the shower and I wash my hair, I massage the shampoo in, I use nice body scrubs, shower gels, oils…all sorts. I shave, do a face mask 🤣 I fucking love it in there hahaha

The beach, doesn’t matter what season. For me it’s a guaranteed mood lifter.

What is the (generic) place or activity that drains away your stress like no other? Bubble bath, wine and candles? Mosh pit? Favourite pub with your friends? Sitting by the beach? Grandparents house? Old bookstore? CrossFit class? Just curious.

For me it's walking - usually with music in my headphones. It feels like time is standing still and nothing in the world matters anymore.

In the back garden on a warm sunny day with a book, quiet neighbours(!), nice cold drink and the cats laying laying around enjoying the sun 😊
I've realised that's when I can actually zone out for once and relax

Sitting in bed cuddling my husband with our Springer Spaniel between our legs as she runs and barks in her sleep.

In days gone by, sitting by the fire with my Gran, reading old lady magazines and gossiping. I miss her.

For me any form of exercise is my happy place. Whether it is a walk 🚶🏻‍♀️in nature 🍃 or going to the gym 🏋🏻‍♀️ or practising karate. 🥋 It is the only time my 🧠 will switch off and all the stress, negative emotions 😭 and anxious thoughts dissipate.

Cosy in my bed with films on whilst reading a book or playing a game on my ipad, with the cat and the boyfriend. ❤

Place wise, I would say this little beach bar in Khao Lak, Thailand. The people are happy, the views are stunning and its just pure bliss ❤

Sounds really silly and vomit-inducing, but in my boyfriend's arms. I never got hugged as a child (very emotionally distant parents) and my 6 year relationship with my ex was nothing short of toxic and abusive. Being held/cuddled by my boyfriend gives me a warm feeling in my tummy, it makes me feel safe and loved.. two things I never really felt before I met him.

Somewhere with mountains, trees and water...loch, river, sea. No sounds of traffic. Calgary Bay on Mull is one of my top 3 happy places.

Cooking! - I don't know a person who likes cooking but I absolutely love it! I find it so relaxing
Cuddling up under a duvet
Waking up or coming home to silent house
Singing my heart out or listening to a good podcast in the car on a long drive
Walking my dog and watching him run around a field all excited
Dancing around the house
Sitting by the river and listening to sound of water running
Roaming around a city by myself (in the daytime)
Staying in a hotel for the night on my own and having a meal and just reading my book all night

My season ticket seat at my football club. Not Turf Moor, but it is my happy place! Lol.
We arrive early- as soon as turnstiles open - get a coffee and a pie, sit down - see all our friends, speak to people we see every game, watch the team train, have a little flutter on the other games in the league, get excited when the team news comes in, then we huddle together when it's cold, lament the shit games, celebrate the good games, guess the size of the crowd. I love it. I feel a sense of zen wash over me as soon as I arrive!
