What if the vaccine effects fertility?

Does anyone know anyone who has got pregnant after receiving the vaccine? Or got pregnant and given birth? I'm not an anti vaxxer by any means but I'm starting to worry that there's been no time to research any of this and I've been reading about how the vaccine has send menstruation cycles hay wire

There is a thread here Pregnancy and the vaccine about people who are pregnant and their thoughts which might be worth reading into, not sure if many people have gotten pregnant since, or there are the pregnancy threads in advice where we’ve had some discussion on it that could be worth reading about

The Hpv vaccines and flu vaccines affect menstruation cycles because it is common that temporarily they will change and then settle down

but it’s only been picked up recently and everyone is so focusing on it because the focus is on vic is now plus the uptake on covid vaccines is a lot higher with those who are menstruating and having the covid vaccines than those who are menstruating and having the flu jab if that makes sense

I don‘t see how one (or perhaps two) messed up cycles can affect your whole fertility. It only takes a bit of stress for some people to mess with theirs.
It‘s annoying when you are actively trying to conceive, yes but other than that I don‘t think there‘s anything to worry about!

thank you! Obviously it’s personal preference, but if you were concerned, GP should be the best person to talk to! Good luck x
Thank you, but I have no immediate plans to conceive so I wouldn't want to waste anyone's time, it's just a growing long term anxiety. I feel reassured now though!

I've had both vaccines and it didn't affect my cycle in anyway, I suspect that if its true, its a rarity.

The jabs are still under varying trials so the question concerning female and male sterilization can't be fully answered until the third phase trials are completed at varying dates during the year 2023.
Everyone now jabbed is now part of the experiment.
Use the governments Coronavirus Yellow Card reporting site to read about, or report, suspected side effects to medicines and vaccines or medical device and diagnostic adverse incidents used in coronavirus treatment.

Hello. I had the first vaccine in Jan, second in April and fell pregnant in the May.

Just wanted to add to this - conceived a week after my second dose. Actually think the vaccine made me ovulate which isn’t always a given. Still pregnant now and all great with baby.

I think if it became apparent it did affect fertility (which I have seen ni evidence of) people who don't want children would be keen to have boosters for that reason

I had my first jab in January, second in February and fell pregnant naturally in June. And that's after 5 years of trying to conceive, fertility treatments and being told that we would likely never conceive naturally!! So even though the vaccine didn't help with conception, it certainly hasn't done any harm for me! All going well so far, hopefully it stays that way

I had the AZ vaccine and it’s totally messed up my cycle - since I got the 1st dose in March I’ve had a period every 2 weeks roughly although the last cycle was 18 days so getting better This is now long after the 2nd vaccine. I know loads of people who’s periods have gone to pot since having their vaccines, regardless of which one they got.

I had the first moderna vaccine end of may. My cycle is still like clockwork as it has been since I went on the non hormonal coil in Feb 2020.
