Does anyone know anyone who has got pregnant after receiving the vaccine? Or got pregnant and given birth? I'm not an anti vaxxer by any means but I'm starting to worry that there's been no time to research any of this and I've been reading about how the vaccine has send menstruation cycles hay wire
Me! I got pregnant 1/2 weeks after my first vaccine, and had my second vaccine at 10 weeks pregnant

I had my first jab in January, second in February and fell pregnant naturally in June. And that's after 5 years of trying to conceive, fertility treatments and being told that we would likely never conceive naturally!! So even though the vaccine didn't help with conception, it certainly hasn't done any harm for me! All going well so far, hopefully it stays that way 🤞😊

Just wanted to add to this - conceived a week after my second dose. Actually think the vaccine made me ovulate which isn’t always a given. Still pregnant now and all great with baby.

Hello. I had the first vaccine in Jan, second in April and fell pregnant in the May.

I don‘t see how one (or perhaps two) messed up cycles can affect your whole fertility. It only takes a bit of stress for some people to mess with theirs.
It‘s annoying when you are actively trying to conceive, yes but other than that I don‘t think there‘s anything to worry about!

I’m really worried. My period is two weeks late (I’m not pregnant). I’ve had the odd late period by about 5 days due to stress but only a handful of times and never this late before. I can’t help but worry that it’s because i had my first vaccine. Can’t think of anything else. Not really great when my periods have always been pretty regular and I was hoping to be trying for a baby this year.
From what I gathered this happens to a lot of people after the vaccine but your next (or the one after) cycle should be back to normal 🤞🏻
I know it’s easier said then done but try to not worry too much about it as that can influence things aswell. I’m sure you’ll be back to normal soon and can start your ttc journey x

The Hpv vaccines and flu vaccines affect menstruation cycles because it is common that temporarily they will change and then settle down

but it’s only been picked up recently and everyone is so focusing on it because the focus is on vic is now plus the uptake on covid vaccines is a lot higher with those who are menstruating and having the covid vaccines than those who are menstruating and having the flu jab if that makes sense

In fairness I shouldn’t have said such a claim without linking something! As always there is a lot online to wade through. I remember hearing about it (from a few sources) quite early into COVID last year so it quite possibly has had more research / been disproven now.

That was a bit of a bold claim to make tbf. And this is the problem with people believing what is written on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter and not doing the correct research (not saying that is you btw)
It’s a worrying time for everyone, but every vaccine has started somewhere and may have a few bumps in the road

I was the same. I went from April-July with no period after my second vaccine. I was very worried as I’ve always been pretty regular. Luckily I think things are starting to get back to normal for me now so hopefully they do for you too 💖

I've had both vaccines and it didn't affect my cycle in anyway, I suspect that if its true, its a rarity.
