@ClockworkDolly I am so excited for you to get to my favourite series of LOD (the third one)

@watermelon sugar it broke my heart to read how sad you are today. You're not failing as a parent at all, it's not your fault your son grew up in the pandemic, try not to blame yourself!
I have no clue about babies but I've heard that all babies develop at a different rate and he will definitely begin talking when he's ready
I am back to my usual self after yesterday's rage-filled day! I spent most of the day working for once, instead of getting distracted on my phone
My best mate and I had a nice catch-up this morning. We also had a rant about that friend I'm meeting up with on Friday, who is a mutual friend of ours. Turns out he's doing everyone's head in, so I don't feel like a fool for not wanting to meet up
I caught up on the Blossoms Pubcast as well.
I went to Aldi and Tesco to do my big shop during my lunch. I picked up a cinnamon bun to watch with Celeb Bake Off tonight
For lunch, I finished off my spaghetti aglio e olio and had a smoothie afterward. I'm weirdly not that hungry today, maybe all those custard creams I ate yesterday are still digesting lol
I continued beavering away with work until I had my first counseling session at 4pm. I was really nervous about it because I didn't feel like I "deserved" the session as I'm no longer depressed/anxious (not compared to last year anyway), but I decided not to cancel as it's always beneficial to speak to someone about any problems. My counselor was so nice and she said I seemed really positive, excited and that I had a "zest for life"!
She also said she could tell that I've done a lot of my own research and reading and that I am very self-aware about therapy stuff. It made me feel pretty chuffed that I spent a lot of my 2020 reading tons of online resources to improve my mental health, so I'm glad it's paid off.
After that, I watched Pointless, washed my hair and made a pea and paneer curry to have with naan bread and mango chutney
Had a little smile to myself as someone is making something rum and raisin flavoured on Celeb Bake Off
