Mac studio fix here too. Worn it for 15 years !
Hoping it stays ok on my skin into my 40’s...
Never got on with ELDW for some reason, Charlotte Tilbury was so so, the Hollywood filter makes my skin look really greasy. but the worst for me was Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk- it lasted about 2 hours then slid off.
I did love the Dior airbrush foundation many moons ago.

Ok I an a ELDW girl but during the summer I need a lighter foundation as my pasty white skin actually gets a bit of colour. So I will try this. Alot have spoken about this brand. So thank you all
I popped into Superdrug to pick this up (Revolution) but I noticed that it has hyaluronic acid in it. I don't think that's very good for sensitive skin, is it?

For everyday day I tend to wear a powder like Mac Studio Finish or Kat Von D(which I’m trying to use up as it’s not worth the price at all). If I need extra coverage I will use a little concealer. If I’m going out I have been really liking the Anastasia Beverly Hills stick foundation, I also like Maybelline dream liquid and Rommel lasting finish.

For primers I have an Avant one from the glossy box which is amazing. There products are so good but I’m not spending £100 on anything for my face haha I really like Urban Decay, they have a primer spray which name escapes me at the minute. I hear good things about the ELF primer too.

The ordinary foundation (the ‘heavier’ one of the two) is great. Looks and feels like skin and not heavy at all so on good skin days it works a treat in brightening and evening my skin tone 😍

I’m a massive double wear fan but it breaks me out so bad. For months I haven’t been wearing anything makeup wise cause you know lockdown but back to double wear and my face starting to react to it but I still love it

there is a brand over here in Ireland called Note which is ok not amazing

Yes the touché eclat - I use their primer too which has shiny bits in, I don’t know if the shiny bits do anything but it does make my face feel glowy!
Oo sounds good. I may have to look into it. Hopefully they have a shade matcher on their website.

I use Max Factor Facefinity which i love followed by Rimmel wake me up concealer and a cheaper brand of pressed powder to finish.

I did enjoy the Armani but I felt it was a very very light coverage and so expensive 😖
You can use more to give it a heavier coverage but then it will cost more. I personally don’t like heavy coverage unless I’m using a stick foundation. Good luck finding the right foundation.

Every time I've had a fenty foundation I've been colour matched wrong. I find all the ones I've had have been really yellow toned

Try findation.com
I found that website but couldn't see a match for all of them. I think it was YSL that was missing.

Nars Radient Longwear or MAC Studio Fix Fluid for me! I’m forever going back to Mac but the smell isn’t nice.

No7 Serum foundation. It’s £18 which I don’t think is bad, not too thick but good coverage and doesn’t go shiny.

Mac face and body for work days and cooler months generally. On WFH days I use Glossier skin tint. Not a lot of coverage, but it is very lightweight and feels nice.

What about mascara? Max factor masterpiece I like but goes dry so quickly. I like double wear but almost preferred a Rimmel matte one that’s now been discontinued sadly.

I used to use Double Wear when I had acne but think it was a vicious circle of clogging up my skin and making it worse but I wanted the coverage. I now tend to mix Nars Radiant Longwear Foundation with the L'oreal Infallible Fresh Wear with Laura Mercier Translucent Powder over the top.
