I stupidly went to a festival yesterday, without wearing any sun protection cream. I can't wear sun screen, without it irritating my skin, so I didn't apply any. Needless to say I now have burnt arms and a red nose. Not happy.

Can anyone recommend a sunscreen which will not irritate my skin, which doesn't cost a fortune, and can be bought in a high street shop please?
I like the Aldi factor 50, I use the baby one lol. I don’t have sensitive skin but the baby one might be ok for you as it’s more gentle. It’s really cheap too, I’ve used it in Thailand etc and never burned as long as I remember to reapply after swimming etc

Just started reading this thread as bored with the footy. My mid twenties neighbor insists on walking past my flat with his top off when it's warm. It wouldn't bother me so much but he's absolutely covered in spots all over his back, shoulders and chest 🤮 Sometimes I wish I hadn't bought a ring doorbell 😢
I went to a boot sale this morning and there was a bloke there wandering about with his top off 🤢 honestly makes me queasy seeing men with no shirts, sweating over everything 🤮

Rainbow washing.

Once again Barclays is proving how gross it is. It has its very own UK LGBTQ+ page currently promoting “Bank with Pride” and personalised debit cards with rainbow, bisexual and trans flag images.

Meanwhile, it is expanding its investment banking presence into Saudi Arabia, with a Riyadh office planned for this year, places where the people symbolised by those flags face severe repression.

But then this is the bank with financial relationships with defence firms and Israeli state financing.

I'm super pale and have sensitive skin, that freckles easily, and am currently using the Ambre Solaire kids line. On my face, it's Nip and Fab glow moisturiser. Both are SPF 50 and available in Boots.

Thanks for the pro-biotic tips for my old boy - we saw a different Vet yesterday, she's fairly new to the practice. She was horrified at the amount of meds he'd been prescribed (by another vet there on Monday) and said come off it all, she thinks he was over medicated. So he's only allowed GI low large food, nothing else at all for a week and one dose of Pro-Kolin daily. We're having to taper the steroids but she thought it was the high dose of those making his poo so bloody. He's so much better today already and his tummy isn't gurgling anything like it was yesterday.

For some reason blokes think they have to go topless as soon as there's a bit of sun. They don't even care if they are 6 stone weaklings 🙈

Daughter used the Neal’s Yard one, all the others hurt her skin. Not widely high street though.

That's great news, am so relieved for your dog and you!
In my experience I've always found that if in doubt vets prescribe steroids, but they end up causing other problems🙁

Yes, I've been seeing a difference in vet behaviour the more my dog started declining in health.

We even had one suggest that she gets x-rays done for diagnostics there and then. Now I'm not being funny but nearly £2,000 is a lot to just snap your fingers and get in my life. He acted most disappointed when I put my foot down and said I needed to think about it.

Yet the one I spoke to the other day about the final appointment, and whether we're ready yet or not, was incredibly sympathetic, offered lots of advice and even put together a painkiller parcel that was cheaper than two separate scripts, filling and wrote how much OTC paracetamol she could have on the envelope.

Not all are after the money and they're the ones that give me hope.

I live in a terrance house. Both neighbours have had a baby’s within a month or so of each other. The most recent one being the past of couple of days.

it’s like living in a maternity ward 😡

I love bondi sands. Their face Suncream is the only one I can use without my eyes streaming all day.

Urgh the sweaty, pasty, flabby bellies and man bits knock me sick. They’re usually on one extreme end of the scale but to be honest even if they have an Adonis body I don’t want to see it, it repulses me 🤢
Same here. Put on your bleeping top, FFS.
