Anxiety. I don't understand why it's so difficult to be rid of. No matter what I do and how far I come, I'll have one weird moment or one rough day and my brain will be off the rails again. Be cured already.

I think the sad thing is the care is so hit and miss and seems to fall into either diabolical or amazing.
Even when they’re amazing there’s still a tit bit, they cured my mum’s cancer but that was after they lost her scan results and didn’t follow up for three months until she contacted them, then told her it was incurable and shattered our family, before calling a few days later saying they’d got it wrong 🫠🫠🫠 rollercoaster

Solo parenting 3 children, 1 who is autistic and at the moment is not sleeping, trying to hold down a job which I hate, all whilst attempting to stop myself spiralling into depression. No family near by so I don’t get a break. I know others have life so much harder but I don’t know how much longer I can do this.

I'm sick of seeing/hearing Bonnie Blue on all my feeds when I have never searched for her or watched videos with her in. The algorithms seem to force feed her to me and she seems desperate to make money/be famous.

The council have decided to close the majority of the main roads this week. Why can’t they plan their roadworks sensibly? It’s absolute bedlam. People are doing detours of miles to get anywhere.

I noticed yesterday a lady in the bungalows nearby had put out a small chest of drawers with a bit of paper saying free. This morning just heard a load of banging so looked out the window, the school kids have dragged it onto a bit of grass outside my house and broken it and left it. Why ? What is the need to do this ? So now I have a bleeping broken chest of drawers as well as overgrown grass outside my house 🤬

Same, and I’m having a bad day and it’s only 8:40 😅

My mini rant is my mum. For those who remeber me moaning about her ruining my birthday with what she had to say about my brother and his family.
I spoke to her yesterday again and she asked how my birthday was and I was honest in saying her rant in the morning upset me. What’s her response to this? “Imagine how I felt” , like you can’t make this up
Somehow I’m going to have to cut my emotions off when it comes to her. She’s amazing for the most part but when she’s on one everyone has to have a bad day

That's very interesting. My MIL was taken to hospital in exactly the same circumstances as @Tanne1999 's grandad a couple of weeks ago. Blood test, massive infection markers, ambulance called straight away. X ray and started on antibiotics immediately.

We thought it was a UTI because of her confusion but it turned out it was community acquired pneumonia.
It is and it’s really not communicated at all to people - as an opposite view, I’ve had 3 UTIs in this pregnancy and not a single one of them has shown up in a urine dip or on bloods (just on symptoms, which have cleared with ABx). UTIs are a pain in the a.

Another vet visit for my poor old boy (he's 13) , still ongoing "chronic colitis", cost another £364 last night for a blood test, yet more steroids, anti nausea injection, painkiller (injection and tablets) and consultations for both dogs as the other needed a medication review. It's so stressful having an older dog that's been ill for nearly 2 months now on top of having heart failure, I can't bear to think of losing him because of a gut infection

I love my cats to pieces but one of them licks you every time you pet him and the other will only sit on our bed and then rubs his wet nose on you every second he can. Makes me want to vom

They closed one of the major roads today, and every road leading to it. Diversions are for miles, and no vehicles let in the stretch at all.

They didn’t do the work because of the rain.

And for those invested in my dog story, I called the RSPCA yesterday after hearing breaking glass. Dog had been alone howling for about ten hours. They were not in the slightest bit interested. No walks ever, ten daily hours of barking and howling, smashing itself against windows and walls … not neglect because it has water.

We have this going on at the moment. Road closures all over the place and the one road that everything is being diverted down has roadworks and traffic lights. Mayhem. Absolutely no coordination.

My girl is dying and I'd give anything for her to have a few more months and then you have people like that, mistreating theirs. Arseholes 🤬

The RSPCA are a load of tit.

A couple of Summers ago there was a dog just up and across the road from us barking all day. It was a very hot day, and it sounded distressed. I rang the RSPCA, and they wouldn't do anything without a house number, and I couldn't work out exactly which house it was.

This went on for a couple of days. I worked out the house and reported it again. They wanted to know if it had access to water. I told her I couldn't see over 6ft gates and around corners. They were just not arsed, and basically told me to report it to the council as a noise nuisance, because "it's probably fine." 🤨

The council were slightly more helpful, in that they did send someone out, but all he could do was put a letter through the door telling the owners they'd been. I then got a phone call a couple of weeks later asking if the noise was still an issue, and to confirm the address, because these people had rung the council and said it wasn't them because they don't have a dog. Which they do, I've seen them walking it.

Anyway, I later found out from a neighbour that the parents had gone away and left the teenage son home with the dog. He'd wanted to be out with his mates, and decided the dog would be happier outside than in the house 🙄

A bumble bee came in through the window but couldn't find it's way out again, while trying to help it out (as my dog is petrified of them) it stung me! I'm so annoyed at it.
