That's so rude of them wow, oh how terrible that people want to get paid for the work they did eh!!I ranted in the previous thread about my manager being unable to authorise my overtime before payroll cut off because he's away and his manager being unable to do it because he's basically a cabbage.
I sent an email to the department head asking if she could check the managers are familiar with the process because I was going to get a late payment for the second time. As it's bank holiday, I wasn't expecting a reply today. She has sent me an extremely passive-aggressive reply explaining the difficulties of the HR systems, cc'ing my manager on his personal email address (when he is on holiday) and finishing by telling me she hopes i feel reassured that so many managers are trying to help me on a bank holiday.
If you'd all done your bleeping jobs properly in the first place, you wouldn't need to be trying to help ensure your staff are paid in a timely fashion on a bank holiday. I'm having to sit on my hands to prevent myself sending her an equally passive-aggressive 'I'm so grateful to you for doing your jobs as managers' reply.
