I can get really unwell from the heat. Once we get into the mid-high 20s, I have to stay indoors. Learned my lesson after fainting a couple of times.

It feels unfair that everyone else can be happy in the sun but it just makes me feel unwell. Hugs to you, it's rotten.
I'm not great in the sun either. Although i do like to see good weather, after what seems like a winter that went on forever! I love walking in the evening when it cools down. Apart from that, I am to be found during the day, in whatever is the coolest room in my house. 😁

It's nice in the evening to be able to run and walk home in the light. But other than that, I'm not enjoying this heat

I would like to rant about a so-called best friend who turned out to be a piece of tit. I'm so daft that it took me 16 months to see it.

I'm basically ranting about how I'm a muppet who trusts too easily. Always have been, and apparently I never learn.

Our fan broke at the end of last summer and we hadn’t replaced it. Spent last night tossing and turning in bed as I was too warm and then when I did fall asleep I got woken up by screaming foxes. Lately I keep waking up around 6am for no reason and I’m bored of it now. I’m sure it’s probably a perimenopause thing as I’m nearly 44. Joy!

Was considering cancelling my TV licence as I’m sick of being ripped off. You can only do it by phoning, if you already have one. Now wondering how difficult that will be, and that I’ll probably not bother and continue to be ripped off.

Feet. Revolting things. Any type of footwear that exposes any part of bare feet in public should be banned.
Absolutely! And a ban in all shops for shirtless men. Keep your tops on! I don’t want to look at your (mostly) flabby bodies and it can’t be hygienic!

Restaurants and people in restaurants.

I went out last night and was really looking forward to it. Table we had was next to a party of eight. The party size wasn't the issue but there were two men on the table that were so loud it made our experience there really miserable as we literally couldn't hear ourselves. We mentioned it a couple of times to the staff and they said 'yeah, wish we had a volume control' ... then bleeping say something to them!! By time it came to the dessert menu we said we weren't interested as it was far too noisy and wanted to leave. The restaurant had emptied a bit by now so they asked if we wanted to move. We said no, and paid and left.

I'm not party pooper and they weren't obnoxious or anything, just the two men being really bleeping loud! It wouldn't have killed the staff or manager just to ask them to be a bit quieter.

I've had this before though in restaurants. The smaller party, not big drinkers, get treated like tit because the larger party is buying loads of booze.

Been having a stressful time lately and lots of early starts including yesterday. Was looking forward to a lie in this morning but next door neighbours went out earlier and their dogs (x3) have been constantly barking ever since. We've mentioned it in passing to them before and got a "sorry mate. Didn't realise they were like that when we go out" but not sorry enough to keep leaving them alone.

My partner. I have PMDD and also have suffered from depression since I was a child. At the moment both are flaring up and he just tells me he's sick of my low moods and said "you have no reason to be depressed. You are not homeless or living in a third world country where you have to walk miles a day to get water, so stop being so selfish, you don't need to be depressed'"!
Oh well, now he's mentioned I'm not a third world resident i can magically cheer up, that's my life time poor mental health cured then!!! 😡🙄
I hate the there's always someone worse off a customer was like well at least you aren't in a war country. Thanks my day has magically improved when you said that

Actually, my husband said to one of the staff 'it wouldn't hurt if the manager said something to them'.

(It's a privately owned restaurant. The manager is the owner)

Regardless, it is a customer facing role and part of the job description is to look after all customers.

Does anyone else come back from their parents' place angry and pissed off - because I always always do.

I know maybe they weren't confident enough. I have high anxiety but customer facing and I struggle to tell people off

Next door had their outdoor tv on from 8am yesterday and today. Yesterday I went to sleep at midnight to the sound of it, I imagine tonight and tomorrow will be the same. Who the duck thinks it’s normal to put a huge tv in their garden?!

Hope it explodes in the heat. Or the kid splashes the outdoor bath water on it.
