I think I'll complete the c25k first and then maybe give it a try. I want to do it but the old anxiety of PE class bubbles up haha
You take it at your own pace and if you need to sit it out you can. My sister has bad fitness but she’s doing grand.

1. I’m hoping to keep up with our change of lifestyle in regards to food. Cooking everything from scratch, filling up on fruit and eating minimal takeaways. We’ve been like this for the last year, but slipped a bit over November/December.

2. we need to finish the jobs in our current house so that we can get it sold later this year and hopefully move to our more permanent home.

3. stick with low buy. I’ve done this for a long time too, I’ve always been a minimalist and I’m not hugely materialistic (apart from making my house look nice). I hardly ever buy clothes or shoes and it feels good when I see my bank balance.

Do you have any specific questions about low-buy that you'd like to ask? I'm happy to discuss. :)

Also, I feel you on your body not behaving as you had expected. I've had an accident and a lot of surgeries/complications afterwards.
I literally went from super athletic and strong to feeble and frail. I cannot trust my body at all and there were days after the accident that I cried from frustration because my body couldn't function at even a basic level, so I was always on edge about the next time I may collapse or the next complication I would need surgery to correct. It's hard and frustrating.
I am working on regaining my strength and slowly learning to trust my body again. I think I'm learning, above all, that whilst the complications I suffered were rare and I hated my body for failing me, my body has actually proven really resilient. I am here, in spite of the complications, so perhaps my body hasn't failed me after all. Does that make sense?

I hope you have a safe delivery. And of course your baby will bring you boundless joy that will make it worthwhile. Just give yourself and your body some time after baby, allow yourself some grace, and trust that you will get to feel like yourself again in due course.
What are your rules for Your low buy? regarding makeup etc?

Yes! I'm WFH and I jump from my laptop screen to my phone screen. I'm amazed when I watch something on TV without checking my phone multiple times, how bad is that 😂
God, same.

Last year I got into a good routine of doing 20 minutes exercise, 20 minutes reading and 20 minutes of something creative each day and it did help my MH. It didn’t feel like an unrealistic target. I’m going to start that again.

As @mcfeez said, I too want to start to live in the moment more. I’ve spent years with a lot of dread about things not “working out” for me, and you know what, I’m still not really any closer to what I wanted. The dream hasn’t come true like I hoped. Kind of a waste of time to fear that all the time though. Time to just crack on I think!

Each year I try to think of some key words that I want to embody / bring into my life more. Like one year it was “confidence”. Another year it was “relaxed discipline”. Found that quite a helpful way to steer myself.

Good luck to everyone embarking on something this year!

Be more active. I’ve joined a bounce back to netball club and a running club. I’ve isolated myself a lot because of my MH and I’ve got 1 friend left who lives away. I’m trying to put myself out there and be more sociable. It’s hard.
How are you finding bounce back to netball? There is a club near me that I've been thinking about joining for over a year but just haven't found the courage.

I'm so socially awkward and my fitness is lacking (away to restart c25k to try get some base fitness) but I loved netball in school, even though that seems like a million years ago 😂

I love it. I’ve persuaded my sister to come along too. I’ve been doing couch to 5k and it’s good. But the netball goes in so fast.
Id really recommend it. Who knows if we’re near we might meet at a tournament lol.
I hadn’t played in 12 years.
