I'm the same when it comes to seating. I have my seat on the sofa and absolutely no one is allowed to sit there, not even the kids. I may have given birth to them but that doesn't mean they can sit in my spot. Same at the dinner table, I have my seat there too.I very rarely drink tap water, always have bottled and stick with the same brand I’ve been drinking for years. I usually drink around 1.5/2 litres per day. I have to drink this at room temperature.
If I’m using salad dressings, which are usually kept in the fridge, I take them out about an hour or so before eating. Room temperature it is.
Chocolate is the only thing I like straight from the fridge.
This is going to sound really nuts, but, I hate anyone sitting in my favourite chair. It has my cushion on it, my throw and I always feel like I have to give them a good wash if anyone else has plonked their a on my soft furnishings - how dare they?!!I am a bit like that with my leather sofa, it is cream leather and sometimes family members have dumped their handbags on the sofa, so I move the ones with sticky-out buckles and things like that, so they don’t scratch my sofa. Plus, I always feel like, “I don’t know where this handbag has been” so I don’t want it tainting my sofa.
I remember one family member asking once if I had bought a new sofa, “no dear, I just look after my stuff and that is why it is in good condition.”
I moved house last year, then lockdown, no visitors - thank duck for that!
Me too with green bananas. Let them ripen at home and away from other fruit.
And same if someone sits anything on my seat of the sofa I have to clean it. Luckily, it's leather so is easy to clean. Thought I was the only person like this, so it's good to hear someone else say the same.
