Washing up question

I rinse everything and I can tell if a cup hasn't been rinsed because of the taste of washing up liquid.

Can’t even believe there was other options I thought everyone did option one

I don’t have a bunch of friends but one of my work mates told us that tmr he goes for option 3

Always rinse under the tap, let it dry for about 30 minutes and then put-away.

I have a "thing" about dirty plates and cutlery. Must be cleaned, rinsed and putaway within an hour of eating from them

I very rarely was dishes as I use the dishwasher but I do wash pans and baking trays but I don’t rinse and never have, I did used to rinse glasses before having a dishwasher.
