Like many have said, he just doesn't cut it when it comes to luxury travel. He was alright at reviewing bog-standard, cheap as chips holiday fare - when you review a £1 burger, saying it is 'tasty' and 'alright for the price' is enough. 'Mmm that's really nice' is not enough to describe lobster and caviar.

He just lacks the knowledge and - honestly - class to review these luxury places. It isn't that they're better or more enjoyable (I used to love taking my daughter to Butlins!) but he's so clearly a fish out of water in them, and I find myself cringing and second-hand embarrassed when I see him in them. He glosses over the Diptyque toiletries because he doesn't recognise the brand, just points out you get a loofah. Orders the eggs Benedict and goes 'aren't there normally two eggs on it' with no other comments. It's clear he's absolutely lost in places like this and it just makes watching painful.

He just doesn't suit doing these big expensive iconic hotels he can't do them justice he's not classy enough to appreciate the classic hotels and he's never there long enough to get any use from three facilities in the modern ones
We don't want to "guess" how many people you can fit in the shower or know that your nan has the same swirly carpets or the fact you don't like any of the desserts on the menu we want to know what the area has to offer is it good value for money etc
I used to quite like the fish and chip shop reveiws he did and the walking tours of the smaller seaside towns he was much more relatable back then I think like many youtubers have done in the past as he's grown he fallen for his own hype and become unreal
I think he should go back to what he's best at where he started

I just noticed something else about his video that annoys me: He doesn't name or say the name of the hotel or the place he is staying. I had to Google the place for his new video. In the video, he calls it the Treehouse Hotel when, in actual fact, it is called The Woodman's Treehouse. It is just a little thing, but it would be helpful to his audience and save having to Google to find the place. I also think it is bad advertising because it does not display what the actual place is called and where it is. I wonder what these places might think when they see their establishment on YouTube, but these Youtubers don't really give any details about it.

Edit: the actual full name of the place is Mallinson’s Woodland Retreat in Dorset if anyone is interested. xx

I can't believe Tim has a thread. Me and boyfriend started watching him and cracking up. The way he sets up the camera then walks down the corridor or comes around the corner and the "how many people can you get in the shower " when he was staying in the retro caravans and said he chanced going to the toilet in the night in just his pants but there were people in the bathroom finished me off . He's such a sap but unintentionally hilarious

I found it funny when he said they had to wear formal clothing for dinner and then he showed her dress, which was anything but that.

I can't imagine the second hand embarrassment of going to such a posh dinner with that dress and of walking around the ritz holding a freaking selfie stick. I bet they got some looks.

I've just watched Gaby's behind the scenes on the boat. I wasn't overly keen on her to start with, bit now I kinda feel sorry for her. The way he speaks to her is so controlling and rude. He seems miserable and just a complete dick a lot of the time! More interested in getting the right camera angles for himself than really enjoying the time with his family.

I love love love that Tim has a thread! We watch him and do actually like his Channel but we came across his live from earlier this week and my opinion on him has changed a bit. He seems to speak down to Gabby a lot and he grabbed her arm at one point in the live. He didn’t like people talking about his previous career and seems embarrassed that gabby was a bit drunk and loud. I have a feeling he’s not as nice as we’re led to believe.
