Omg can't believe there is a Tim thread we started watching him when he used to do British seaside towns and worst rated hotel reviews, I'm not such a fan of his latest videos at fancier hotels around the world. I want to see the shit.

Also his hair is like Simon in the Inbetweeners. Always makes me laugh.

I wish he'd blur people in the background more. Sometimes he shows people in their swimsuits 🥲 I'd be livid if my fat hairy arse ended up in someone's YouTube.

I can't believe Tim has a thread. Me and boyfriend started watching him and cracking up. The way he sets up the camera then walks down the corridor or comes around the corner and the "how many people can you get in the shower " when he was staying in the retro caravans and said he chanced going to the toilet in the night in just his pants but there were people in the bathroom finished me off . He's such a sap but unintentionally hilarious

For anyone lurking here who thinks these threads seem harsh. Most of the cynics have been with Tim on his journeys for quite some time. You start by quite liking the content, then about 6 vlogs in you want to hear/see something original but it boils down to same shit different location. Somehow he elicits some weird version of Stockholm syndrome, whereby, you watch his content and hope beyond hope he will do something/anything differently but please, please I beg you save your own self worth and scroll on by. And as for the 'Lives' it is just him, his missus, a poor under stimulated friendly ghost child called Thumps and sometimes a 'babysitter' having a dysfunctional family crisis on a walk or stuck in a very small house. Sorry, but this was therapeutic

I’d be raging if I’d paid top dollar to stay there and got caught on his selfie stick! He doesn’t even try to blur people out?! Moaning about smelling smoke again, yes you probably did, people that pay 10s of thousands for a room/suite in a prestige hotel get to do what they like they are paying for the privilege! I think what I've been struggling to verbalise (at least well) for a while is that he can't understand that there's a joy in compromise. He doesn't understand that value for money can bring people greater joy than an objectively better item.

I went to IKEA today and had an 85p hot dog. It was delicious. It filled a hole (ooh err). Was it a wagyu steak sandwich from Harrods? No, and it probably was nowhere near as good. But because I spent pocket change on it, it was a guilt-free treat I didn't have to actually weigh up whether it was WORTH it. And I think with the cost of living crisis a lot of people feel the same way about enjoying themselves right now.

And it's why Tim is rubbing people up the wrong way - he doesn't seem to understand that enjoying something cheaper doesn't mean you can't, or don't, enjoy luxury. He's just a naturally miserable person who is unable to find the joy in the little things.

He's beginning to think, like many YouTubers who start a channel reviewing various things, that he is the star of the show and people are watching to see him. It's arrogant and usually leads to their channel plummeting in views.

Tim, take this as a troll comment all you like, but genuine advice here. People watch your videos either for the shock factor (when you were reviewing the worst places) or because they're also considering a similar holiday and want to see what it is like (like your latest Haven video). Neither of these things are about you, they are about the place you're going. So showing 3 minutes of you burning a bacon sandwich, but no footage of the shop or walk back to the lodge, is useless. Sitting on the sofa and asking Gabby how the swimming was while she grunts back 'good' is useless. Nobody aside from a few weird regular commenters you've gained are watching for you, or Gabby, or Ghost. It's easy - turn up, show the facilities, the prices, if anything went wrong or particular well, edit it together and upload for cash. Nobody really gives a hoot about your spiky hair and sickeningly light wash jeans.

P.S. Gabby sings about as well as a drunk colleague at karaoke and her arrogantly huffing in front of a far superior Havens entertainer IS funny, though. You can keep that in.

I have watched for a while I particularly like the worst rated series, I do find he moans quite a lot like in the menorca vlog don't book a hotel that's miles away from any kind of shop or restaurant then
I must admit I'm not too keen when Gabby joins in I find her a bit cringe especially when they go to dinner in some average hotel and she's dressed like she's off to a nightclub and half the time I think she's actually pissed by the time their dinner arrives

It would be an interesting observation if your facts were correct. Tbh I'm surprised people dislike him. My son and I watch him and think he's great. I'd love to travel making vlogs for a living. Sorry there's far worse YouTubers out there!!!! I'm a sole trader, earn £150k a year+ and have no intention of ever going on companies house! I miss his UK worse hotel vlogs but well if you don't like it why watch it! I was surprised to hear he had a thread on tattle so had to come and have a nosey
