We use both the butter and spreadable for different things and can only get the 400g spreadable and biggest butter I can get is 200g now ☹

It's not much use if you're in the UK but think it's Aldi in Ireland that has butter that's wrapped in the same factory as Kerrygold. Same as Supervalu own brand tea is differently packaged Barry's.

Having switched from M&S to Waitrose I’m obsessed, the customer service is much better as is the quality of food and I love the freebies!

So far I’ve had,

Flower shaped crumpets
Belvior

Twinings tea bags
Scones

I think the M&S fruit and veg is better or at least around here it is

I bought some of the larger, square shaped crumpets yesterday. Pack of six. They are nice with some of their own brand peanut butter spread on one.

Have you tried the hot chicken tikka masala?I bought it (for Mr HB, thinking it’s not for me ) I loved it and have bought 3 times. When I go Tomorrow I am picking this masala up definitely. I never think to try something different (that’s not a madras ) . I also had it with the pineapple salsa. (As I normally get the W hot mango chutney, but was getting bored with it.) Have looked at that no1 chicken masala and am going to get it!

Yes I really like the hot tikka masala! I had £2.50 off a ready meal, and they’re also 20% off so got it for next for nothing. I’ll definitely buy it again.

also, does anyone do click and collect for their groceries? I am thinking of switching to Waitrose from Ocado but there’s one a short drive away so considering the click and collect option rather than paying for delivery

Popped in after work and they had a good amount of yellow stickers, got southern fried chicken for £3.25 (think its normally £5.75 (or 3 for £12) bagged it up and put in freezer. Both of us like it, (Neither of us liked the m and s fried chicken). It’s so handy as you can cook, straight from freezer. Also , picked up a silverside which was on offer, and also on offer they have 750g mince for £4.66 (it’s 15%) but that’s fine, and is being made into mince rounds anyway. Also got a little treat from them for my £50 (ish) spend ,which is 4 all butter or sultana scones. Got the no 1 butter chicken masala as recommended by an expert here, going to stuff my face with it shortly 😋

I have done it for holidays but it’s quite annoying unless they have a dedicated car park pick up zone. You have to find a park & go in, ask for your order, then stand around like a lemon for 10 mins whilst someone hunts it down & finally repack into your own bags. At this point I’d rather do my own shop.

The delivery pass is good value at £8 as I get 2 deliveries a week & the minimum is only £40. And Waitrose drivers are super nice.

Oh that’s good, the same as Ocado. I thought you had to pay a years upfront when I was doing my order, and didn’t want to commit as I’m only trying it to see if I prefer them.

Does anyone know if they still sell the spiced apple, pear and calvados crumble ice cream? Can’t see it to add to my order and hasn’t been in the last two stores I visited, but the label has still been there.

I'm going to a branch on Monday and will have a look for you. But the app isn't showing it as an option.
