typically blog stats are up because people are inside and reading them more. That's per month. I can't get anymore access as I've used up my free searches! You can use something like Alexa:

I would expect someone who is teaching what she teaches to rank on Alexa. Most people won't check her out though, just believe her bull.

Travel blogging is decimated with many great bloggers having to find other income, and fashion blogging is way down as no one is splurging on clothes for going out or the office. I don't work with any general 'lifestyle' ones which I guess is what Vix would claim to fit into, so I'm not sure on those.

If I was paying large sums of money to a “guru” for help with my business then I’d want the person to look professional and put together. Not slobbing around eating a diet of chips and moaning about wanting to have a nap all the time. Also not forgetting her engagement is crap and she doesn’t have many followers at all compared to all the successful Instagrammers. What are these idiots paying her thinking?!?! They must be seriously desperate!

Bearing in mind she’s been trying to get above 20k for so long - she was 10-20k for YEARS like 5 years. Only now that she is justifying ‘influencers’ and writing all these stupid posts to blow smoke up their arses and they’re sharing her post she’s actually getting some traffic. Even Callie Thorpe who has a well established plus size Instagram with loads of brand deals said last night that she had been ‘on a call’ with Vix. And then Vix gained almost 1k in a day. I bet she’s loving it but seriously Do you think people will stick around for her advice?

There are so many people like her out there, I called them opportunists of influencer marketing - they have basically realised that influencer marketing is a hot topic and they just jumped on that wagon calling themselves experts - when in fact have no idea about how to grow your platform or the insight of influencer marketing. Girl, reading the ASA guidelines does not make you an expert, please!

for example, I personally think hello miss Jordan’s book is way too expensive. However, I really like her photos, so if I wanted to be an instagrammer id probably buy it. I don’t know much about inthefrows life but I think her style photos are great - so if I wanted to be a style blogger, I’d consider a course she offered - because they’re both successful within their genres. Vix has never been successful on Instagram - she was successful as a dating blogger, years ago.

I’ve been trying to put into words what irks me so much about these courses put on by influenzas.. there’s just no guarantee of success?? You could pay £400 or however much to have someone tell you to be successful but it really does sometimes boil down to luck or that you are unique enough to stand out. I follow so many micro influencers at like 5-7K followers and they slog away hoping they’ll make it but the reality is that most won’t... I don’t think it’s right to be charging people for advice, courses, 1 on 1s for such a fickle industry. What happens when these people don’t see success? They ask for their money back? Silly really

Agreed! My own blog gets 240,000 in 6 months, and I wouldn't dream of offering a course because that's still not hugely successful if you want it as a career.
