they have one on their website that's available but it's saying estimated delivery is 1-2 so bit worried it's coming to come when I'm in holiday 🙈 have found some cheaper ones on the FB marketplace so hopefully they're genuine and won't be scammed lol!

I can’t quite justify one for me because I only own a tiny handful of steam games, but my best friend has one and it’s incredible, she plays it all the time in bed or on the bus etc. She had a similar delivery timeframe to Krispykreme, they said two weeks but I’ve checked back to the excited messages and she ordered Monday and it came Wednesday afternoon. If you have a big steam library already it’s definitely worth it I think!

If you are into playing older games it is very very easy to set up emulators on the Steam Deck and play old DS games or PS1 or any old console! Totally legally obv 🙈

Someone liked a post I made a few weeks back about TotK. As an update, I've now done all the shrines, all main quests, beat the game and lit up all of The Depths, but I'm still playing it as I want to finish more side quests.

I think I might be addicted. 🤣

I have a steamdeck and it's brilliant! The main thing is check the proton website for compatibility as a lot of 'non-verified' deck games play well on it despite not yet being verified. Sleeping Dogs for example (a good recommendation for the person who wanted games in more realistic settings).

I have played everything on mine and it handles even newer AAA releases as long as you are prepared to tweak the settings. And of course the more demanding the game the shorter the batrery lasts. I'm currently playing Pokemon Fire Red on mine, you could even emulate Tear of the Kingdom of it (if you owned a switch and a copy of the game for legal purposes ;)).

You're all convincing me to get a steam deck 😂
I've got a Switch, PC and Xbox.
I don't need more... but I do 🤣

We considered a steam deck earlier in the year but ended up buying a beast of a laptop instead. Maybe when we sell one of our PCs we could get one... 🤣

The only caveat I have for the steam deck is if you are not au fait with computers in general (rather than consoles) it might be wise to have a go on one before buying. Some people don't like that there is tweaking and technical stuff required if you want to push the limits and some people hate linux. To me though, It's what I dreamed about for years when I was fed up of watered down pc ports on tablets and phones.

Same here but I have PS5 not Xbox. I do know that if I bought one with the intention to share it with my other half then he would claim it. So I’ll wait.

I’m playing through ToTK very very slowly on my switch at the moment (legally purchased!).

My sister has an OG model switch that is modded which she said was easy but seemed insane to me so I’d have someone for tech support if I got too lost in settings faff on the deck though I’m ok at general computer stuff. Why am I talking myself into this! 😂

I don’t have a PS5 or an Xbox, no objection or anything, my stepson has an xbox in his room but I don’t seem to be the type of person who can sit and play a game on the tv, I don’t know why handheld works better for me but it does!

Luckily my partner isn't into PC gaming. Doesn't have a steam account and hates the Switch.
So I'd be alright 🤣

I had the mad hump with Trepang2.
I think I said earlier that I'd seen it all gaming wise. This isn't really true, I was in a Daily Mail type fury when I posted that bit. The hump did it.
I've nothing left to play I want to.
I could actually continue past the first few chapters of RDR2 but for some reason I just can't get into it. So much work went into that one I feel guilty finding it a bit meh.

Anyone looking forward to Starfield?

Mortal Kombat 1?

Spider-Man 2?
Very much so.
Been waiting for ages. And then it just kept getting pushed back 😂
Watching a bit of gameplay streams at the minute but don't want to spoil it too much!
