I've seen it. It's been reduced this week. From looking at the previous sale price and the extensive work they've done to it, I doubt they'll make much from it. There doesn't seem to be much selling for near their asking price in that area.

I actually like the downstairs of the house. I would change the garden and a lot of the bedrooms and one of the bathrooms.

for that area…. I don’t mind the decor either, I love colourful homes myself and it has been well presented to be fair….
I just can’t get my head around how she’s only just finished all that work and isn’t going to stay to enjoy it, and those poor kids…. More upheaval, more building sites, more mess! Can’t she see that. For what? Brighton is fine but it’s hardly swapping the ‘big city’ for the clean, quiet countryside. Just more of what she has but with kids that may find it very unsettling on top of already being ‘challenging’ (according to her), not to mention change of schools! Not sure she’s thought of them and their needs, and she will
deserve the repercussions

It's a very acquired taste. I'd have to decorate every single room. I think its awful
I’m very rarely snobby about areas but East Ham is the pits, I can see why she’s moving. The price with the size considered seems reasonable and I imagine it’ll sell quickly as demand is there.

I think she’s in the refurbed attic now. At least the kids have some colour in their rooms and it’s not a grey prison. Hate the fairy lights in the front room and bathroom though. Looks gash.
You can see from the awkward chimney breast that it was once one room which was split in half to make a third bedroom. Surely if you were going to do that much renovation you'd restore it to a nice big family bathroom and lose that pointless (not even) box room?
That middle room is just a load of wasted space isn't it, big corridor. If they didn't have it all open plan downstairs one room could be a playroom/snug and another a family room.

I've just found the listing for the previous house. They moved less than a mile down the road!? I live somewhere fairly rural so maybe I'm underestimating how tight the school catchment areas in London are but that seems like a huge undertaking to move just a few streets away. Makes me wonder if all the bluster about schools was nonsense and it was just a money making scheme.
Interestingly, there is no other sale data for their old house before they sold it so I wonder if it was gifted to them via family/inheritance.
The whole house is tasteless and in cohesive. Lots a insta content back grounds but way too much going on. Coordinating a home doesn’t mean sticking a f&b Bancha (colour matched at the decorating centre online) painted bit of furniture in every room!!
You’re confusing her with some who has taste. I mean here she is in her favourite Peter Pan collar but this one looks like she’s got saggy bits. So I’m not surprised about the throwback vibe in her house.
