Don't they indicate that the annual numbers for both of these buckets are on a downward trend?
(I realise this isn't the same as an overall reduction that some are very keen to see).

Every government since Blair at least have been shouted at constantly by speakers for doing similar announcements outside parliament.

Surprised they could even make it through the door looking at the size of that crowd!
At least he got through the door 😂 looks like a decent enough crowd for a pub they’re usually empty vessels these days.

Feck me, the same measures are temporarily reducing VAT on cinema/theatre tickets but only on children's tickets. Why the feck would you only apply it to children's tickets and thoroughly lumber the cinemas and theatres with a VAT admin minefield where they have to mess with their established accounting systems and now account for the different tickets separately all the way through to the VAT calculation, with an eye on the ticket's sales date as well. Tell me these clowns have never run a business without telling me that.

If you're going to feck about with VAT then do it for ALL cinema tickets and ALL theatre tickets and so on, not this conditional tit that means extra record keeping and processing. The government can EASILY afford to do it with all the unexpected cash they're raking in on higher VAT take on fuel due to the higher fuel prices.

Moronic.
If it is anything like the VAT reductions that were supposedly in place during Covid, then don't expect to see the full savings passed on.

A number of places will just pocket a % of that VAT cut for their own profit margins.

And people think this dodgy fucker is going to be PM? 🤣
Imgine if this was the leader of any other party. Would they be ok with saying they were “unaware” as well?

The thing is with the immigration news, is that if immigration had stabilised or increased then they would have (rightly) been slammed.
So why is Julia Hartley brewer desperately trying to make it seem less of an acheivement?
‘Yah but it was sunaks changes’

‘yeah but it’s Brits emigrating’

like when have any of her lot ever spent time complaining about the demographic breakdown of emigrants?
Lol.

You just know if these were the results two years into a Reform government she would be singing their praises.

Social media posts calling the Jewish Ambulance arson attack a ‘false flag’ apparently. That makes him the second Green candidate for Makerfield to have accusations of antisemitism levelled at them.
