Finally the BBC are reporting more on Farage’s house purchase

Good stuff. And remember, Farage is the leader of, despite how the media portray it, a relatively small party. Imagine the scrutiny he would be under if he did become PM. That's why I think he's going to make as much money as he can now and actually bail out some way before the next election, and leave a numpty like Tice, Yusef, or some other clown carry the can.

Also in the news:

Alina Burns, then aged 18, attacked Mohammed Mahmoodi, an Iranian Kurd, in Bedminster, Bristol, on 2 August last year as he was chatting with a friend.

Burns nodded when the arresting officer asked her if she had swung the axe at the man. When he asked her why, she replied: "I wanted to cut his neck. I would do it again, but to succeed."

The Crown argued that despite accepting the pleas, there remained a terrorist motivation to the attack, which the judge, Mrs Justice Lambert, accepted.

Also in the headlines… We can see where it’s all leading

There have been quite a few cases in the same vein, which haven't been mentioned much here. This one was last year, in my neck of the woods

This silly twit is now threatening to sue Piers Morgan for saying his singing was tit. Good luck with that ‘Ian’, thought you lot were all for ‘freedom of speech’?😂

If the electorate think Labour is bad just give Farage a few months as PM now after a snap GE takes him by surprise and we will soon see just what happens when a Trump lite shyster is under scrutiny.

You’re wrong I’ve been posting about these types of crimes on the Southport killers thread when the discussion was about extremism.( one example)

Good to see that they brought Ian Watkins back to life for Unite The Kingdom

What a disgusting comment. Calling anyone (let alone a man of faith) by the name of one of the most horrendous paedos to have ever existed is just not funny. This and the 'white person behaviour ' comment are revealing so much about people

I meant more along the lines of hate crimes and terrorist activity targeting Muslims.

I don't know how to embed tweets, but a lot of the permanently-offended have been clutching their pearls about this 😆

Suprise suprise, Andy Burham has been nominated to contest the Makerfield seat for Labour. 😅

The Reform candidate will be Robert Kenyon, a pipesman, an army reservist, who has previously worked for the NHS in the area as a specialist technician.

Burnham is now going back 36 years and blaming Thatcher for all the country's woes of today. It is a bit of a stretch, not sure why he is not blaming Winston Churchill. What he is forgetting that within those 36 years he was a cabinet minister in the Blair/Brown government for 13 years. To coin a phrase, it beggars belief what he is coming out with.

If he is going back 36 years he had better explain himself, his theorising and his views on the intervening years, where he had a finger in the pie. Keep on talking Burnham, you may shoot yourself in the foot.

Apparently this Robert Kenyon is a self employed plumber. It’s a shame the Green Party have already deployed Hannah the Plumber elsewhere, it would have made for some amusing hustings where they told one another to ‘pipe down’ and other plumbing related jokes.
