Welp...this thread is really something when it comes to excusing behaviours by white people 😂

Yes, everyone knows only ‘white people’ piss in public. That would be news to the people of Notting Hill who need to barricade their gardens shut over carnival weekend I expect.
Did the ‘white people’ at the other march just hold it in?

I don’t understand this protest or gathering or whatever it’s supposed to be. What is being achieved by it? A protest is something you do because you want to shake things up? You want to show those who lead us you are pissed off! You want to create chaos and cause such a fuss that will close the country down, so someone in power will think hang on a bit, we’re gonna have at least listen to each other to try and work things out.
Regardless of if I was interested in going or not, I honestly couldn’t afford it. There are people who went there who have probably spent money they can’t afford to spend, all to watch that red faced little twit on a mike, a bloke sing like a strangled cat and some daft bints mocking women in burkas! It’s embarrassing!
Do I agree with boat loads of undocumented men arriving here, of course not! I don’t think any sane person does but this is shameful and there is no good coming from it! Anyone in any kind of position to judge this will just be sat pissing themselves that once again Tommy or what ever he’s calling himself today has once again manipulated the public. The other one, the TikTok creator Corky who I bet my life is on the Farage pay roll, he was also there revelling in the attention! The ego these men have because they’ve gone viral a couple of times is mental!
I only read these thread posts, I tend not to comment because I think the split between the country is quite sad. I see good and bad people on both sides and I also see so much anger. It’s getting quite scary witnessing it all but that march or protest or whatever it was meant to be was pathetic and the hands of some very grubby individuals will have been well greased for that turn out! No one organising it gives a tit about anything but what they will earn out of it!
Is he the guy in the Union Jack suit?

The video footage was enough and definitely more than piss stops on that route 😑
Nobody does excuse it’s news headlines

maybe I'm being thick, but which christians are being 'massacred' and 'butchered' across middle eastern nations, as tommy ten names says?

I must have missed that?

I know about the stuff going on in Africa with the islamic extremism, but that isnt middle eastern?

It would be wrong of me to post photos of some random people weeing in public to then claim it was from the Nakba March, not least because I think taking photos of people having a wee is wrong. It’s also wrong of you to continue a false narrative by linking it to a specific event because you don’t like it.
You should try living in an area like St Paul’s in Bristol when the Carnival is on, or Notting Hill or any other large public event that draws a crowd and has insufficient public toilet facilities. People will go anywhere, alleys, driveways, between parked cars in the street. It’s commonplace. It’s also commonplace in the majority of the developing world even when no events are on. Selective outrage.
It was rather a wake up call during covid when the public toilets were closed and bins were covered. People came to our beaches, randomly urinated and worse, dropped their litter and left bags of stuff on the ground and promenades, before going home.

It was disgusting to see and so disrespectful to our natural landscape and beautiful beaches. I was shocked at the behaviour, that is one thing that sticks with me from the covid era.

Lol that's not what I said at all. I said it's wrong on both sides. But again, just use whatever narrative you want...you do anyway 🙄

You used the term ‘white people’. That does imply that at some level you think the perpetrators of the pissing are from one particular march.

No, the comments that followed talking about other instances when people urinate in the streets.

It’s common all over the Middle East, particularly in countries like Syria or Iraq. The Christian population in Iraq, for example, has dropped from over 1.2 million in 2011 to roughly 120,000 presently. Many people from the Middle East that are Christian claim asylum in the West because they are under threat.
A simple search will provide many instances of Christians being murdered, especially by terrorist groups like ISIS.

No, there were over a million Christians in Iraq before the US invasion in 2003. By 2011 there were around half a million.

It totally depends whose figures you use. Exact population stats are difficult to obtain because no official census figures exist.
In 2022, Christian leaders reported that the number of Christians in Iraq had dropped from a pre-2003 estimate of fewer than 1.5 million to 150,000, so I don’t think 120,000 is too far off in 2026.
It remains a fact that Christians are at risk in many countries in the Middle East.

I am sorry - but you actually sound ridiculous. It is actually you, basically saying that only white people urinate in public places.

The photos being circulated of women urinating (I think it has been mentioned that they were taken in Glasgow, some time ago) are beyond inappropriate. Nothing to do with this thread, and why people are posting photos of women being caught short and circulating them - I can find no justification.

No it doesn't depend on whose figures you use. There will not be a single source which says that in 2011 there were 1.2million Christians in Iraq - as you claimed - because that was the pre-2003 number, before the US invasion, which had more than halved the Christian population by 2011.

I'm not blind, I'm well aware thanks.

There is widespread persecution of Christians in the Middle East. Not sure if it’s a massacre or them being butchered like they are in African countries, but it is an issue and has been for many years.

The closest I can think of is after Assad there was a lot of brutal violence to religious minorities in Syria. That wasn’t specifically Christians though.
