I reslly think they sometimes think they are a next level of human and being a good religious carb free person will protect them. Just look at the way they handled covid, the baby being carried, chain saws, keeping their BMI at an unhealthy level to look ‘Good’, risking an ED by putting glucose monitors on a CHILD making her listen to a 12 hour audiobook on fasting and bribing her to diet for a year with a trip to Disney

I think the whole family is crazy rich and completely disconnected from the average income and lifestyle. I don’t dislike them though, I do this Jen is completely over the top on the decor and all and is obviously so heavily invested in her family and her passion for decor and being positive all the time, but I think it’s probably her genuine self and I dont feel like she’s ever trying to show off but more just trying to share her life and has obviously made into her job. It’s just so crazy different to how the majority of people live! I don’t know what it is but I do find her Instagram and stories fascinating to watch though.

Agreed!!! I couldn't have said it more perfectly!! I don't dislike them either. I really do think Jen is a good person. She shares the good bad and ugly. And they do post interesting content. I think I watch them as an escape sometimes. Most EVERYONE including me don't live in that kind of world. Maybe that is what makes them so intriguing.

I can’t look away! The whole family are massively out of touch with reality but I don’t hate it, like someone else said after this shit year it’s quite nice to see someone being ridiculously positive.

Same! How the other half live! Like, someone asked her how long it took them to save for this house and she said they saved and invested everything for years and lived rather frugal, but even if i did all that i can only dream - ha!

I lost my dad to Alzheimer’s and it’s insulting that they are peddling misleading information on this dreadful illness.

I believe this family have serious food issues and it’s alarming that MK has been encouraged to follow such a strict diet at such a young age.

I just searched and found this thread! I love her decorating but have stopped watching over the whole diet thing. I can’t believe they bribed a 12 year old to with a trip to Disney if she didn’t eat refined carbs for a year, how bad is that for a child? I also couldn’t believe Kimmys husband (I really like kimmy) is healthy and not diabetic but wears a constant blood sugar monitor to check no food spikes his blood sugar as that would make his body store fat. I can’t believe how the family is so obsessive about it and presents it as normal. I notice they listened to the audiobook on a road trip which is all about fasting and avoiding obesity again with their 12 year old there.

Dressing her in a fur suit, forcing her to ‘walk’, climb a plant and constantly posing her for content is verging on cruelty. Kimmy has loads of sisters, surely they would tell her that Steve Jnr is over the top with his behaviour.
He is very dominant. Loving your baby doesn’t mean taking charge. Kimmy is a bit silly with outfits and bows, but I don’t think she’s truly happy with his behaviour.

I was honestly gasping at the carry on of them with the baby. She’s a newborn and still needs to be held properly, not thrown around like a rag doll!!

Oh my gosh! I just watched stories this morning. Steve Jr. the father had got the baby on her tummy and is working her legs like she's on a bicycle. That poor little thing. Ran her around in a monkey suit. Now this. Why can't be just leave her alone. That poor child. Is he crazy? Is he just trying to hard? I don't think he's going to get a father of the year award. Geeeeeeeez

That poor baby should be recovering from the birth, resting in her crib, not propped up with sunglasses on and a game controller on her lap. Steven is being behind childish here. It’s so not cute or funny.
I hope Kimmys parents are staying and can advise them.
Jen should be tactfully suggesting things too.

Found the Dad on Twitter. Very republican / pro trump / climate change denier. Not surprised at all. Doesn’t want healthcare for all - thinks all that’s needed is everyone on their carb free diet and daily strenuous exercise. So basically if you are ill it’s your own fault for being lazy and fat in his eyes.
