Ergh, my BBT is beginning to drop, which I understand isn’t a great sign. The positivity on the Premom app is actually quite annoying - anyone else? 😆 I can’t be bothered to post my chart on there for people to just comment “omg keep testing”. I should update my mood on the app to angry though…. /vent.

Thought I’d try a test as I’m 8 DPO but it’s a BFN at the moment 🥺 might still be too early but I don’t think it’s a goer this month sadly but we live in hope

Is anyone else really thirsty? I keep drinking loads but I'm still thirsty and my lips keep drying out. I havent done anything to make myself dehydrated and I've drank the same amount that I usually drink. Also I've had a headache for the last 2 days. Think I'm falling apart tbh :ROFLMAO:

Ladies I had removed myself from ttc for a while due to a few different things going on and for the last few months have been casually NTNP but here I am once again, a week into a 2ww and driving myself mad symptom spotting - even though in the previous pregnancies I've had, I had zero symptoms, none. A week of crazy dreams/restless sleep which is unusual for me, and some seriously sore and puffy gums which is also very random. It's gonna be a long week 😩

I’m on CD25 and think I am 10DPO. No symptoms whatsoever, but not really a surprise that once again it’s unlikely to be our month. We’re at a wedding this weekend so I’m just going to let my hair down and enjoy myself.

It's so hard isn't it. Sometimes feels like our bodies are against us regardless of what we are trying to achieve. I bought some opks the other day so hoping to start them to see wtf is going on and to make sure I actually ovulate. This group is so helpful and I am at the start of my TTC journey so can't complain too much. I am just feeling sorry for myself today and need to move on 😔
Yes, it’s like a constant battle. Hopefully you will get back to shorter cycles, I just try to tell myself that we never really know what’s going on inside our bodies, random things like seasons changing or diet can affect cycles…

Got some actual changes in my LH tests this cycle! Hopefully a good sign things are starting to work after coming off my BC 🤞🏼

Femometer app seems to be confused as to weather the bottom one is 70% or 100% peak, comes up differently whenever I scan it what do you guys think?

Hi everyone☺ Thought I’d pop on here as I’ve been struggling with painful and heavy periods for 11 years now and after a lot of fighting to be heard I’ve received two upsetting diagnosis’. They believe I have adenomyosis and PCOS without the ovarian cysts. I was told today that my testosterone and prolactin levels are unusually heightened. I’m 22 and have been in a long term relationship for over 5 years now and we plan on TTC in a year or so. Ever since been told I have these conditions I feel as though my world is crumbling. All I’ve ever wanted is to have a family and I feel like the odds are against me. Scans show that my ovaries are in good health (supposedly?) but my uterus wall is inflamed/thickened/irregular in size and shape. Alongside the messed up PCOS hormones I worry that I won’t conceive. I know it’s early and nothing is certain but I’m devastated. The doctors seem to give me false hope and ignore the fact that I’m battling two conditions. Anyone I speak to just says there’s other options out there for when we start trying (I assume they’re referring to ivf which isn’t too helpful for those with adenomyosis affecting the uterus) which doesn’t make me feel any better - why is this happening to me?!😢 My partner is supportive but he just tells me not to stress and we’ll work things out. But what if we can’t?! Any words of advice would be much appreciated as I know you must all relate to these feelings in some way💗

Hi All, New to this thread. Had a chemical pregnancy in April. And now TTC again. Currently 9dpo BFN this morning. (Still early )
I had a few symptoms (fatigue, sore boobs and increased appetite) Today I can't stop weeing and had some spotting today- very pale pink. Really hope this is the month!
whats the date you all got your BFP?
10dpo I got a very faint positive and then a strong positive at 11po

The difference between just using the apps and testing is mainly if you’re not DTD often like every other day then you might miss your peak if it comes early or late.

Does anyone else get super tired around ovulation? Like you could just sleep all day?

Another Monday, another week of BBT tracking and pissing on sticks. How are we all?

Apparently my fertile window starts again tomorrow but it keeps moving so who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️ Husband is back from London tonight so should be good to BD this week as much as necessary. I’m considering not tracking LH after ovulation - thoughts?

@Gossipgirl993 hope you’re alright today love.

I’m conscious that we are edging closer to the point we said we would go for IVF 😞 I don’t even know what cycle I’m on now but it’s about 7 or 8, 3 DPO today and I feel like I’m gonna need another month off if this isn’t it. It wears me down so much.
I was really down last month. I wonder whether it’s going to happen naturally or if for some reason it won’t and we’re just wasting time?? I did enquire with a fertility clinic and had a callback from them but I need to speak to my husband before we go ahead with anything as we’d be paying ourselves. I am not a patient person at the best of times and this is really hard for me!

Do you use opks or track bbt?

Update to my last post: I took another test this morning and BFN!!!! Can't believe that faint line played tricks on me! Gutted 😪
I didn’t want to say just incase yours was actually a BFP I didn’t want to worry you but I’ve had that little faint line at the bottom before and got AF the same day 🥺

I’ve just got back from my scan which has confirmed a chemical pregnancy. The nurse told me to wait two weeks for a negative test then can’t try again until I’ve had a period. However, I know people who’ve conceived two weeks after a MC or CP, so why is it that they advise against it?

She also said I’m able to use progesterone pesseries next time to help make the pregnancy stick - has anyone here used these? She said there was no negatives, only benefits.

Thank you x
I’m so sorry to hear of your loss💛

the reason they advise waiting for your period is it makes it easier to date a pregnancy if you do fall pregnant straight away - don’t let it put you off if you feel emotionally and physically ready to try again straight away.

I’m insanely hormonal today, I’ve cried twice already and it’s not even noon. It’s very unlike me. Wondering if my cycle is messed up from the CP last cycle? I’m only on day 14

We would need to wait a while to be eligible for NHS testing and I’m too impatient 🙈 plus I’m approaching 35 and just want to know what our options are. I am thinking if this cycle isn’t successful I will have a chat with my husband.

I take the Proceive 400mcg as well, my GP advised that because I'm a little overweight (not loads just over the threshold) I may have to double it (aka 800mcg) but I am on a ✨ health kick ✨ to get back down to my wedding weight 🤣🤣 I read it starts with an egg ages ago but it was too much for me, it started talking about the ink on receipts being a cause of infertility or something and I started overthinking and not touching them and it was driving me nuts!!
Oh I know! I had listened to the podcast that I posted at the start of the thread before I read it fully though and she did say that it’s a lot so I skimmed over bits (especially all the research blah blah) and focused mainly only the bits where it tells you what to do depending on where you are with TTC. I did switch all my cleaning products and laundry stuff to plant based but i think it made same of my clothes bobbly so I’m back on Persil and Fairy 🙈

Hi guys!

Long time lurker here! Finally thought I would join as we are in the early days of our TTC journey. It’s only the 2nd cycle really, 1st cycle we could have tried harder (we had a lot on that month)

I am using the easy@home OPK’s so have a couple of questions…
1. Do you stop testing once you’ve had your peak?
2. When is the best time to DTD? On the peak day itself or after? or is it best to just regularly do it 2/3 days throughout the cycle?

I am currently only around 4/5dpo, had my high/peak 15/16th of June but feel terrible! I must have picked up some sort of bug which is not helping my symptom spotting. I have on and off stomach cramps and twinges as well as on and off bouts of nausea and headaches! The timing couldn’t be worse!

anyway looking forward to the advice and going through this crazy journey hopefully resulting in BFP! We are newly married and has to postpone our wedding throughout covid therefore feeling like we couldn’t try for a family so now we are more than ready 😊
Welcome love 😊

I use the CB digital ovulation tests where you stop when you get your peak. With easy@home I think some people keep going to ensure they've definitely found their peak.

Regarding timing, sperm can survive for up to 5 days inside our bodies but the egg doesn't last that long once released so ideally you'll DTD a few times in the run up to and when ovulating. It can be hard to pinpoint exactly so NHS advice is 3 times a week and I know a lot of us aim for every other day. The CB digital tests say peak fertility is when you get your peak and the following day.

Good luck 🥰
